I was in a Jita station and the fittings menus, missions menu etc. wouldnt come up so I exited the game. Now I can't get back in on the character selection screen.

Jita and some other places have some problem atm. Even the stargates going to them isn't working.

And about the comment on the too many New People
thats actually a good thing, means EVE will last abit longer 
I don't think the population has anything to do with
the problems of late.
It's to do with this latest patch, and like always they'll figure it out

Sooo... I'm reading the other posts and people are suggesting removing and adding text to the Programme.
Does this mean we all have to do this or just hang in there and the EVE guys will sort all this out and we'll be back hunting bad guys in no time?
Cause even though EVE rocks, I'll happly leave if I have to fart arse around with the Programme everytime they issue new patch.

Hello, The patch has been deployed
and is working as intended.
The problem being with how it was intended,
you cannot login if the system has a certain
number of pilots, systems like jita ALWAYS
have that certain number of pilots.
Which in turn means that i am complaining about
an impossibility to log in, a by-product
of that being the inability to change skill
which also adds to me being ****ed off.
Now did i chew that up enough for you?
p.s.: and yeah, the game randomally boots you out too.

Mate, give it a break. They're doing the best they can, though if u ask me they really really should disable the "join now" links on patch days.

ok mate i understand what ur saying about "they are doing all they can" but do me a favour and go check how many paying acounts there are times it by how much u pay and then check how much they make a year.......its a joke that they havent got alot more people involved in this by now !

Reply to static: yea man i know how much they get a year (i've made a calc some time ago when i heard they have 100k subscribers :)) but know this: u get free expansions, free patches (this patch WILL be uber once it works and Kali will own as well) + they just upgraded a whole TQ cluster in less than estimated 24h DT and without major problems. I hope u remember such things at times such as these.
Please, be patient, in the end, u'll enjoy eve again but u dont have to make a bitter taste here on the forums for it. We're all in the same sh*t together. Devs and players i mean :)
EDIT: oh,and believe me they have all the people available and logically needed working on problems right now.
