I am using an Audigy 2 card with Kx drivers installed. I dont use the creative drivers as they dont work too well with team speak since latest ts patch.
Problem I get now is that whenever i start eve i get an error message telling me that hardware acceleration has been disabled until I can get twelve working channels.
I have no idea how to fix this and would appreciate some help.
Win XP Pro
athlon amd 2200xp
512mb
radeon 9700 pro

Okay,
>Control panel
>Sounds And Audio devices
>Speaker Settings, should be near the bottom, hit advanced
>performance
>move slider for Hardware acceleration all the way to left

At the risk of sounding stupid, is this not just turning off acceleration completely?
I want to use it not switch it off! If i'm wrong then i shall get my coat!

I have this problem too and it's really bloody stupid as it only happened after upgrading a gfx card. Reported it to the boffins. Faith and patience now.
Only happens with EVE...Everything else runs hunky dory

my hardware acceleration was already set to max anyway. but for the record i have also tried switching it off and still get same problem (obvious i know but thought it was worth a shot)
so still got no hardware acceleration with Eve despite it working fine with all other software
Ok, so what the hell is this Golden Ratio? |

Hi, I submitted the problem via the support page, I have been told by the GM's that this has now been escalted to the Dev team, however I have now also submitted via email to them. I still have the problem too.
