So what did you do with the ship icons?
The little pictures in your hangar and in the market representing ships look crap.  (drone icons too)
Like you have lowered their quality or upsized and downsized them again losing image quality in the process.
Don't reply if you haven't cleared your cache after the patch

Some new skins I saw look cool but the static spaceship pics look bleh (only the small ones, if you show info the larger picture is the same as before) |

They pretty much stadardiszed (oh god, corporate-speak!) all the icons for the ships now. Clear you /pictures in your /cache and you'll see the new large art.
Helps a lot for drones, heavy drones for example aren't blobs of light anymore.

What am I not saying right?
I see the large art is the same.
I noticed the new icons after clearing the cache like everyone should do after a patch.
The ship icons in my hangar look awful. Drones have changed too and some of them look pretty good (like praetor and the show-info img of berserker) , while others just seem to have been downsized with poor quality. |

Being a noob, What dir's in the cache should be cleared? All of them? Or just the files in the cached dir's?

Ditto here, they looks MUCH worse then before. Cleared cache completely, still the same ugly pictures.

Everything in your cache folder other than the following can be deleted:
-prefs.ini
-siteswhatever.txt in the browser folder
-settings folder |

Been comparing old and new pictures from my backup.
It mostly seems the new ones are "too" zoomed out for my liking. Especialy in high screen resolution you can barely make out some ships.
Still, some seem of quite poor quality (jagged edges etc), like tempest and raven for example.
