eek, i've been subscribing to Eve for 'donkeys' now and yet I am thinking do i post in this subforum or the general discussion but well, the resulting info might be good for newbies too anyway- did a quick google search but only really saw the DOTLAN map.
My question, is there a colourful noncopyrighted EVEOnline map pdf that i can stick on a usb stick and take to my nearest printers to get poster(-s)ized? the one i've seen though clear looks like just a black and white flowchart- not something i fancy putting on a wall...what i'm after is colourful but clear (and no colouring it in please statements , lol, you cheeky people :) (i'm after something which looks decent)

Have you tried Ombrey's maps. Not sure if they are what you want, but they look nice and its in PDF format.

I can do custom sizes and colours too. 
Just thought 9000x9000 and 4000x4000 would be enough for most people 
generated by https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/mapmaker/ Though the general release is limited to 3k x 3k, to stop it chewing all my ram.

thanks for all the help guys. Yup the EveOnline store one no longer works. get a 404 error..i think they stopped linking the maps when the Eve Magazine site ended. Think the publisher still does them (Amazon UK listed by a publisher if i'm allowed to say that?)
the Ombey one is nice and simple..i'll go with that. only really for an overview.

Beware that Ombey left EVE a while back, and his PDF is a little outdated.
Specifically it is missing outposts that were built after it was published. I also seem to recall someone telling me there was a system connection (stargates) missing, but I can't seem to find that post at the moment, and I think it was in nulsec. |

Any printed out map will be missing outposts after about a week of existence.
As far as I'm aware of, the last gates added were in FW regions as a part of the latest FW revamp. I don't recall any nullsec gates added since Apocrypha (when I started playing). |

The gates added were in empire as part of the FW overhaul.

I use a print out map. Not for the outposts etc. mainly to check what alternatives there are to the routes my AP gives me.
So if I find out that gate "x" is heavily camped, get to a safe spot...pull the map of that region / regions and check if there is a way around the camp.

Or you could just right-click the system in your AP route and set it to avoid the system. |
