I have a general eve-history question. I know there is one region of space that is being held open by a small group as a "free travel" region (kind of an open trade alliance).
I'm leaving TTI next week to start my own company within Eve (no it wont be called Carebears R' US ) and was wondering where this region of space was.
If anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Calladen

Good choice!
I believe Khanid are the region you are referring to.

Seriously though, I'm afraid I don't know. SPC maybe?

I believe both the SPC, NVA and Khanid Alliances work in that fashion. Of course, current upsets within the Venal Region may not make it good territory for a newly formed corporation. --

I have always found Khanid and the surrounding area the safest overall - right from the beginning in May.
Although it may be hard to believe, I'm glad to see you'll be staying around BTW. I wish you better luck and enjoyment in the future than you've found recently.

Yea, you're probably thinking of CFS(confederation of free stars, if I remember correct), which goal is to keep Khanid and JK-FIX safe and free for all.

Nice to know you are staying. After you form your new company, you can contact me about SPC membership. Or you may catch me heading into Venal with the SPC fleet on your way out!

ok, then, so was I. he said he was leaving the game, and tti, 2 weeks ago. neither has happened. since he is not a man of his word, I think he should stay with TTI. He seems to fit right in. |

He then turned around and said he wasn't.
Or is that a crime now?

I for one will openly say that i chuffed to buggery that he's staying (translation = I'm very happy)
Solid, honest, chap is Calladen, glad to see he is staying and i hardly think his decision to stay, no doubt based on a tonne of eve-mails saying he should't leave, is cause to suggest he isn't a man of his word.
Glad to hear your decision Calladen, I think you probably mean the CFS and/or the SPC.
Good luck with whatever venture you are embarking on (unless its the total demise of BBBB that is )

It sounds like SFC (the Kahlid region). I'll contact Oberon about this area of space. Yes I'm leaving TTI I'll be posting an "in character" comment in the intergalactic forum this weekend after my website is done. The new corp will focus on weapons production and mining. Our military stance will be decidedly "neutral" and defense only and our business motto will be "xxxxxx corporation - quality you can trust". I thank everyone for the kind words and private evemails encouraging me to stay. While I was going to leave two weeks ago (yes I did post that) after talking to several people I decided to stay. I've already tendered my resignation to TTI (effective this weekend) and I look forward to venturing out and exploring Eve in a new capacity. I fully intend the new corp to make its own way in the galaxy and will work to earn the respect of the eve community. Thanks again to everyone for thier support I really appreciate it and look forward to working with everyone peacefully. Calladen

If you remember me, you are more than welcome to initiate conversation about your new endeavour. The corporation I belong to are also a (soon to be approved I hope) member of the CFS.
We encourage and try to keep our space free from pirates and freeloaders causing pain to others. You are welcome to join in our cause.
Hope to hear from you, Yyrkoon

Well done Calladen,
I'm glad to see you decided to stay and tough it out. Also nice to see there can be life after TTI. I wish you luck in building and preserving a new reputation based on your own actions and business relationships.
Good luck

Mordessa,
Thank you very much for the kind words I appreciate it. I sincerely hope (and expect) to uncover an entirely new world of Eve now and am really looking forward to it.
Yyrkoon,
Yes I do remember you I believe I handled a ship claim of yours as I recall? (Not sure). Anyway I'll be sure to contact GENCO about other trade and NAP opportunities.
Jade,
Thank you as well for the kind words. As an avowed "carebear" (a badge I wear with honor) I look forward to peaceful relationships with all alliances and corporations.
Sincerely,
Calladen

Well if you are going into manufacturing let me know what you are selling.
You were the first person from TTI who stated they would build what ever they had at cost for the old alliance folks with what ever blueprints you had. Like with in the first two days of attacks.
I would love to support your new company's business.

Calladen is a good man and one of my good friends IRL. I am sure that my endorsement of him has just ruined any respect he might have ever earned. Sorry about that pal! :)

OOC:
LoL - Well all my TTI aggression and "hate" for the organization and it's members is purely in the spirit of the game and nothing more. Simply adding a little drama and fun to the universe (and we are all actors in it). I believe Eve is a game where the players need to create the content.
It puzzles me, actually quite scarry fankly how ppl can get so "out of game" on issues and go into real life political and social ideas. But then again, if they are just anlalogies then it's okay.
I don't think I have met anyone in game who I believe if I met at a coffee shop in real life I would not be able to have a good and interesting conversation with.

It's bittersweet to see you form your own corporation. I am sad that TTI is loosing one of it's finest. While at the same time, I'm very happy for you to be doing what will bring you happyness and profits. Good Luck my friend.
OCC/ I know how the politics of the game have been a grind for you. I truly hope that you find the fun in EVE you have lost over the past weeks. /IC
