Well ladies and Gentlemen.
Now, its time for the third lottery to kick off :)
5minutes ago I put all bpo's won in the second lottery on escrow and its time for round three to start.
I've thought much back and forth about changeing the setup of the lottery, but all in all, I'm actually pretty happy about the way it turned out in the end, so I'm gonna give it one more round the way it is before making any changes.
So, without any more ado, on to the info part:
IMPORTANT: Please read the rules and how to participate before sending isk. Its supposed to be sent to "XTrans Lottery", (my alt) not my main.
There will be sold ONLY 250 tickets!

The Prizes
1st Prize: 1x battleship bpo of choice!
2nd Prize: 1x Battlecruiser bpo of choice!
3rd Prize: 1x Battlecruiser bpo of choice!
4th Prize: 1x Cruiser bpo of choice!
5th Prize: 1x Cruiser bpo of choice!
6th Prize: 1x Cruiser bpo of choice!
7th - 17th Prize: 15mill isk (instead of 15 tickets that recieve 10mill, ten tickets will recieve 15mill) :P
This totals about 1.9billion worth of bpo's + 150mill isk

And now, For the rules:
- 1 ticket cost 10million isk (10.000.000)
- MAX tickets is 10 per person (which equals 100million isk)
- Reply to this post once the isk is sent (This is bacause some1 have names that are typed in various ways, and its easy for me to just check the forum and compare the picture ingame to make sure its the right person)
IMPORTANT:
To Participate:
- Transfer your isk to "XTrans Lottery" (This is my alt and has been created for this purpose alone. SHE IS a member of X-Trans too)
As this alt has the sole purpose to keep record of the lottery tickets, I will only log her in once in a while to check status on ticket sales and send out confirmation mails.
If you do not recieve a mail within a day or two, please contact me. EVERYONE will recieve this mail atleast 12 hours before the draw

thanks to all for buying tickets so far... sales seems to be alot slower this round, so I won't be in to update as often, so there will be a little more time between confirmation mails.

I'm very sorry for the delay, but there have been alot of stuff happening the last week unfortunatly :(
I'm back now though, and hopefully I'll be able to get this thin up to the top so some more tickets will be sold so we can reach the draw as soon as possible :P

Thats no problem at all, I just transfer the isk over to my alt once I log on.
As for confirmation mail, I log on the alt every other day or so to send out dconfirmation mails, so it might take a couple days before you get it, but I'll log in tonight and send out mails :P

On the subject of possible fraud, let me just say something:
This character is an alt. I use alts for perfectly valid business
reasons - not for scams, et cetera. The age of this character is several
months old, so you can tell it's not been recycled. If you don't like
this, that's your affair, not mine.
I have never met Xinity, and prior to buying a ticket in the last
lottery had no dealings with him/her.
Baseless accusations are easy to make and can be made by anyone, and
against anyone.
As far as I'm concerned, I didn't expect to win anything, but am glad I
did. I wish Xinity the best of luck with this and hope it continues.
PS: I've said my piece. I realise it was somewhat off topic, but I
wanted to say it. Unless Xinity wants it to be discussed, please don't
derail the thread into a discussion.

For anyone that takes 5minutes to check my employment history you'll see that I've been in several corps, including my own now where I have spent one billion isk to buy a freighter to be able to continue the business I started over 1 year ago. And as I'm several years old I don't really see tha alt scam accusations have any basis what so ever.
But again, I cannot change the fact that its a shady galaxy we live in, and that there is many not so honest people around, but all I can say is what I've been saying since day one of my transportation business. Check my references!
Only reason I've stopped asking people if they would please post a reply to my transportation post is that to be honest, I haven't had to. People contact me all the time without me having to do any advertising, and they never require collateral, so the point of my transportation post has reached its goal :)
And you can be pretty darn sure that if I run away with 1billion worth of cargo, every damn post I have will be bumped with a scammer warning.
And then, if tickets don't reach the designated number I will most likely return the tickets unless the ticket holdes wish me to turn the prize into an isk prize.
And I also want to say that I'm sorry for being behind on sending out confirmation mails, but I've been REALLY busy in real life and haven't had time to play at all for quite some time.
However, the mails will be sent out today :)

Looks cool. It looks like she's taking a 600mil profit from each lottery, so why do you paranoid people think she would have a lot of alts to win the prises too? I was hammered also for trying to do a lottery on a single bpo by those who were jealous that someone is doing something cool... I hope that if I chose to start a lower end lottery that you wouldn't frown on the competition :)

Well it was a bit less than 600mill, cause I found a raven bpo with research on it and I bought that instead of an unresearched one... Thought it would be a little extra bonus for the winner :D but i made enough to make it worth while, and I enjoy making people happy :D
And for competition, I don't mind that at all :) if I get transports that I can't deal with myself I gladly direct them to my "opponents"
I'm also probably the most expencive hauler around, and never once have I tried hiding that or been ashamed of it ;)

Yes, I look around for a little day or so for some bpo's with research on, but most of them will be unresearched ones.. however I were very lucky this last round and found a A raven (as the 1st prize winner chose) bpo with ME20 I belive and some PE on it as well saving him over 2 months of research :D

Well, I'm sorry but there isn't very much to the pick itself.
I just put in a 1 (lowest number) in one field and 344 (highest number) in another, then another 1 (how many number to be generated) and click a button called "generate"
Then I get up a ticket which in this case was 269 who belonged to Masta Killa. Who is a fellow I've never talked to, never met, never heard of.
I could give everyone their number, which I did in my old lotteries until someone complained about that saying it was to easy to manipulate since there are many that are very good with computers in both bad and good ways, so thats when I stopped doing that. I also held drawings real-time in a channel, but then I recieved complaints that I was being to slow, when I'm making sure I don't scream out the wrong name as I have to check the list I've written on a piece of paper, and also the transaction log in the wallet.
As for the draw being at a specific time, yeah I could have done that, but it would still happend the exact same way, a reply in the forum post and an updated original post.
And to be honest, I was really excited about giving away the bpo so I thought why not give it away once I'm done confirming the transaction logs and making sure my notes are correct?
I'm sorry that you are upset about the way the drawing took place, but this is (in my opinion) the safest way to do it.
As no1 knows their number, no1 can influence the lottery in any way.. and as for me picking the winner: I couldn't care less who got the bpo. The bpo wasn't mine, the isk isn't mine, I'm quite happy flying around in my freighter moving stuff around, I've been doing that for a year, so I don't want any of my alts to get a bpo.
However, I DO enjoy giving expencive things to new players as to them it matters the most, and giving a cruiser to a new player who never had one before makes him much happier than giving a bs to a person that has already had 10 before, but its not always like that, and the number I pick in my lotteries is the person who recieve the prize.
*Pointing out that all numbers in the above statement is from THAT lottery* :)

Yes of course, All winners will be mailed (unless they are there for the draw) and all winners will be posted here (original post will be edited)

I will be home at 18.00, so thats when the draw will begin in "X-Trans" channel
However, I will only have about 1-1.5 hours so I'll be drawing the 10x 15mill prizes first and then draw all bpo prizes beginning with the bs bpo and going down to the cruiser bpos (this is to give all tickets an equal chance at winning the bs bpo)
then I will announce the winners beginning with the cruisers to build up for the bs bpo ;)
