After charachter selection the game will not start. Entering game as .. stays forever on screen.

Me too. I suddenly started having problems purchasing anything and wasn't able to undock. I logged and now I can't relog.
Presently in Ours Fed III. Knew I should have left that system before logging last night...

I'm having the same issue. I logged out in Ours earlier and now when I try to login, I get the character selection screen and when I try to get in, it just says "Failed". If I try to select an alt, it just hangs completely.

I doubt it's system-specific, I'm in Chaven having the same issues. Decided to relog since I couldn't bring up my skill list, now I can't get in at all.

I was able to relog and make a couple purchases, but I still can't undock.

Unfortunately, I too am having the same problem. Whenever I select my character, the box pops up that says ôEntering game as Xö, the progress bar moves, reaches the end, and nothing happens. Is this still happening to anyone else?

I just logged in for two minutes so this way a good day!
Try 100 times sooner or later you get in !

yep same issue....
2 accounts 2 pc's
all characters on both accounts stay on black screen with text up Enterting Station/System what ever and dont progress beyond that

Got into my alt just not my main. Go figure i can get in The Forge and not a low density constellation like Lonetrek. i only have .5 hr left b4 me skill is done  hope i get in b4 its done

Yeah the servers came back up recently and its still fubar for me.
Two accounts, both black screen "Loading as..." and nothing happens.
I tried it numerous times to the same effect. At one try it actually
showed the "Loading station..." screen for 5 minutes but still nothing.
My Saturday is a crapper lol.

same problems at mandoo, normally there are no more then 10 people so whats the problem ? can login with a second char in a different system so its not a cache problem and must be a serverproblem.

Hi all!
Well, I *was* able to log in tonight - around 2030 EVEtime (with a classic screen that said 1 player!!)
So, i set about my business doing missions - and, as I'm expecting to pick up a Thora very soon, thought I'd get "Propulsion" learning and stared to train that (28minutes only) as I am considering a webstasis module.
All went well, started running a mission - then booted off the server, next to a stargate.
You've got it - tried to log back in - "failed" as system was loading. Tried again - 5th attempt I had entering the game as.... nothing.
So, I'm currently undocked, skill will hav ebeen completed, so more downtime - and possibility of being a "lost soul" in space perhaps, as I am still undocked.
This isn't a moan but, like others, just registering that I, too, have been caught out by this.
WHEN I am able to log in, I hope my character hasn't been podded - honest guys, it really wasn't my fault!! (Or, perhaps it was, as I should have stayed in that station.....)
Hope CCP can get this sorted out ASAP!!

After the server reboot I was able to join but the server delay was not playble. Now again(!) the screen "Entering as.." stays on forever and I'm not able to start the game.

Make an alt, log in, petition and go to bed... Tomorrow is also a day...
LOL just logged in - just have to wait about 10 mins with that screen: "entering the game as..."

Same problem here. I lost connection to the server as I was docking a few minutes ago and haven't been able to get in since.
I was able to get in with my alt who's in the same system though so it must be a character thing and not an overloaded server issue. Anyway, I petitioned and hopefully they'll get poor Regel unstuck soon.

Bah, I get a message that the connection to the server was stopped after waiting about 5 mins for the Entering Game As screen.
Same thing with a new alt starting in a different region.
edit: Alt is hanging on entering station

I manged to quickly log in, just stayed in long enough to switch my skill (9 minutes left till completion a lvl5 one). Did it again to check if the skill is indeed training and it is. So I am good now and wish you all a good night.

What is actually quite interesting....
I can't log in my Main Account, it's exactly the same stuck in the '..entering game as..' screen like you guys have.
BUT
I can log in my second Account (that is on top still a Trial) without any problems.
BOTH characters, the Main AND the one of the 2nd account are in the same system, hell even in the same station...
And this is actually, like i said, interesting....
PS: (and yes I tried to log on alts on my main account, anyway what char i try on it - stuck. On the Trial account i have np logging in)

I'm having the same problem. I can load my new P^2 account, but not my main. It's kind of a drag bz i was out in a belt shooting rats when things went bonkers. HOpefully it doesn't last long.
