Hi all,
Aurora is in the middle of a large recruitment drive for new Event Actors and Producers, we are looking for creative people who are;
o) Able to be creative, in terms of creating new events and executing said Events within EVE o) Dynamic, you need to be able to think on your feet when executing Events
A little bit about the type of events we do;
Tier 1 û These events use no Prime Fiction entities, they are created using previously unknown entities and built upon from this point onwards. As a side note, the Tetrimon started as a Tier 1 event.
Tier 2 û These events can involve prime fictional entities (corporations), however only from a minor perspective. These events have a lateral, but not driving impact on EVEÆs backstory and fiction.
Tier 3 û Are prime fiction events that work with entities given to us by CCP, these producers work in hand with CCP to ensure that entities take the direction CCP wishes them to do so.
The opportunity also arises from time to time for Aurora to write fiction for CCP as required (for those of you with strong writing abilities)
New recruits to Aurora start as an event actor, and work their way up to the level of producer they are happy doing, Tier 3 being the hardest (and requiring the most effort) to become.
An event actor is someone who acts in events that the other producers create, during this period they also work on the training involved to becoming a Tier 1 producer.
Due to the way ISD applications work, if you wish to submit an application or update a previous application
o) Visit http://myeve.eve-online.com/isd_2.asp to submit, or update your application o) Send an email to [email protected] with either your character or account name you applied with and we will respond
Some notes regarding applications;
o) Having forum warnings does not discount you instantly from Aurora, but these are taken into consideration when processing your applications (i.e type of warning, recent warnings etc)
o) If you have applied in the past but not heard from us, update your application and email us!
If you wish to have a chance at actively influencing life within EVE as opposed to standing on the side and talking about it û this is your chance!

Edited by: Lochmar Fiendhiem on 31/03/2006 08:52:25 Quick question, if I am accepted, do I have to leave the corp I am currently in? I have developed a close bond with my corp and I do not want to leave them.

Sorry Lochmar, I thought someone else would come along with the answer for you very shortly, it seems no one has.
If you get accepted to ISD they let you make a new character seperate from the one you use to play EVE with. It's also a secret who your playing character is.

I recently applied, full of vigour and expectation, but unfortunately I haven't heard any news regarding the status of my application since then. I updated it, just to diminish the chance of miscommunication, as I comprehend that the Interstellar Service Department is rather hectic. :)
My application still rings true, and I am eager to aid in anyway I can. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Heh I used to do this sort of stuff in EQ before Sony took it over. Was tons of fun, but I'm not sure if it's even worth replying. Considering that everyone that has posted previously hasn't gotten a response, I doubt I will either. Pity. Would've been great
I may just decide to apply anyways who knows...

There was a phase where all ISD applications were not being mailed to us (which makes recruitment a lot harder). This has now been fixed by Mephysto, if you haven't heard update your application.
Sorry for the trouble

ah, I applied a good while ago, figured I would update my application just in case mine was one of the ones that didn't go through.
I am anxious for the EVE storyline to get moving sooner rahter than later and would like to help out in any way I can.

I have just been accepted as an Event actor,and I am very glad i passed the initial fase as i really like to be an actor in eve as well.
I applied a long time ago and updated the application several times. So for those who didn't get a reply, u may want to update it again. Also, there is an e-mail adress available for questions about the applications. May i suggest u use it?
Most important, i just wanted you to be aware that the recruitment proces is active. Keep the faith and have patience.
Good Luck and hope to see u within the Aurora team soon.

So don't expect a reply right away! *********

I am thinking about doing this as I already have some idea's for Events. I have applied for another position at this stage but would like to be able to note down my idea's and send them to the right people if this is possible. ----------

We check the new applications basically daily so it should take less then a week to receive a reply from us after you've sent in an application.
It is very important that you check the e-mail address you've listed in your account details. This is where the reply will come to. So if you aren't checking that address or it isn't in usage any more then it could be a wise decision to update it and update your application after you've done so. Do state in the application then that you updated your e-mail so we know why you are sending in a new application even though our system has you marked as "replied too".

You can always mail in event ideas to [email protected] and they will be looked at for sure. We don't promise any feedback or info if we will use them or not. ;) -------------- Dogal Aurora Captain The Aurora Project [email protected]

I am still on trial-4days left. So I don't seek for corporation. First I have to buy my first game card. In this case I came up with one astonishing IDEA why wouldn't I try to create organization. And then I did I have created Durex Placebus Foundation DPF-shortly. And now I am trying to succede. I know that it is silly idea but I think it is kind of creative

First reply after you've sent in an application shouldn't take more then a week at the most. Make sure to check any junk folder etc from mail from "[email protected]" since that is where the mail is sent from.
Everyone get a reply if they get in or are for some reason rejected.
So if you've applied but haven't heard from us, mail either Nebulai ([email protected]) or to [email protected] and we'll re-check.
