My second post on this forum and i'm afraid it's gotta be a complaint again.
Lost my ship on a mission run yesterday cause i couldn't warp out (and yes, i'm sure i wasn't scrambled and my cap wasn't empty either). I reckon there was lag involved or some wierd server issue, it all happened pretty fast.
I already tried to file a petition in game a couple of times but whenever i was done typing in my message and trying to send it, i only got an error message. I also tried to do the same on the web site here but obviously i need some kind of mystical ID which i haven't got although i checked my account details. Bottom line is it wouldn't let me file a petition and i feel i deserve to get my ship replaced. Unfortunately i'm not in a financial situation that allows me to just buy another one.
Thanks for the help.

hey,
Are you *sure* the petition didn't get through?
I've heard quite a few corp mates have submitted petitions and received an error..... only to find that the petition did get through after all.
I think there is some where to check the progress of these petitions.... anyone care to point out where?
Take it easy, Flicky

'my questions' on the left side. My 'other' petition ended up there despite 'http error -1'. Though the day before I got an php error and that petition was indeed lost.

'My Questions' will lead me to a log-in screen. Do i really need to make an extra account to use that feature? My EVE account details don't work there.

Yes, you need to create separate account.

Generally, if you login to the forums you dont need to login again to the "Ask a question" part of eve but for some reason they are seperate parts of the website.
I cant work it out so usually just login to the forums and then click "Ask a question".
