1 free day would give us about 33p each and would cost them about ú35,333.
Still think they should do it?

Well as you know, they have in the past.
Good customer relations is king, tbh with your views, you do more harm than good.

WOW gives free days when they have problems (sometimes even when its not there own fault ,like some dodgy routing on the way to there server).
bet there are other mmo's i havent played that do the same thing.
EVE devs did give free isk once for a rollback near the start of retail though ,so somtimes they do be kind

You whinners sicken me. In other parts of the world, some cant even afford or dont have the means to play EvE. Think of how lucky you are to be able to face unscheduled reboots, lags, memory leaks and bugs but you still get to play EvE.

Our "exp" gain hasn't halted though has it? The day CCP start regularly giving out handouts, such as isk or increased training time, in response to downtime is the day the door swings firmly closed behind me as I exit the building. SWG is a prime example of what a joke that type of thing can become.

I basically can't play until this is cleared up. Several days and counting, probly be a week. I don't want a refund, but I am trying other MMO's. If I find one I like, it WILL be CCP's loss in the longer term.

I'd rather have a proper server to play on then something thats worse then my Casio Calculator.
Let ccp get it sorted. Before u start a new thread after every Reboot. Server hasn't been working properly for months, get used to it. -----------------------------------------

Nope.
I would understand reimbusrsment if servers went dead completley for a week. And even the, I would settle for "In Game" reimbursement, like uhmmm Impoc or something, greedy bastard that I am.
But, on a serious note, even if EVE went out for a week, completley, I would just want skill reimbursment, not monetary one. This game is still best there is, and whether we ***** and moan and groan, the dev tem is still the best from all other mmo's out there. And this is not a "Fan-Boy" speech.

When CCP do give you days back, they are being generous, because they collectively actually do like their players. They ARE trying their best, using their weekend time, to try and get the servers running for us. When you signed up for the game, if you read the EULA you would know:
Section 12
"CCP disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement. There is no warranty against interference with your enjoyment of the Game. CCP does not warrant that the operation of the System or your access to the System, or that your use of the Software, will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the System or Software will be compatible with your hardware and software.
While CCP attempts to have the System available at most times, CCP does not guarantee that the System will always be available, or that the System will not become unavailable during Game play. The System may become unavailable for a number of reasons, including without limitation during the performance of maintenance to the System, for the implementation of new software, for emergency situations and due to equipment or telecommunications failures."
