I run 2 eve clients on the same pc (p4-2900 with 768mb, ati 9600 with 128mb)...before the last patch i didnt have any problems but now...
My overview on the 2nd character shows nothing...it empty...i can see everything around me but not in the overview...
Is there a solution for this ?

I just intsalled the game today and am going through the tutorial (14 day trial). My overview is also empty and i can't get it to display anything no matter what i do! someone out there must have a solution!

mine is doing the same comming out of stations.... i have nothing on my overview. if i warp off to the closest belt or planet or something THEN ill get everything on my overview.
im starting off a second character and theres 11ty billion other new guys floating around near my home station... i thought it was maybe a lag deal, and my overview was just taking ages to pick up everything.

hmmm, mine magically fixed itself after loging in/out a bunch of times. It still happens sometimes after leaving a station, but re-logging in usually fixes it now

OVERVIEW SOLUTION follows:
open overview settings, open ships and DESELECT Rookie Ship.

Same Problem here ...already tried to clean up the cache, but it didnt help. IF it works we can talk about a grattitude ;)

I SEE NOTHING in overview. expanded or not it cannot be dragged out big enough.
NO ships moons asteroids birds targets pirates in the overview.
This means NO pvping, NO protecting the corps assets/missions, NO fulfilling duties as 1st TACKLER in EARTH FORCE squad.
THEREFORE NO MORE PLAY OR FUN. WTF BUG is this ?
I cannot repeat it and get it to happen to many people so that my cause is more widely heard.
When will the DEVS byich tell me how to fix it. Then i can spend some Time WORKING on my game, getting it bak on the road like an old car.
Which I am willing to do. But i dont have an old car and i dont want to get dirty or help...much...i want to play with my modules CMON
WAiting however is a poor option. No contact makes it all the better.

got the fix will try....works...fix is-
1-  go into eve directory
2-  rename "cache" file - "cache1" .
3- Reload...DONE!

oh well, WHICH one smarttalker? bm and those settings are all saved in one file in "settings" folder... if u copy back that file bm folder are back but overview is broken again...
anyone got this solved?
