I know this is probably somewhere around here but cannot find it
all i can find is this , but basically I want to know how the diff levels of space affect your status when doing PvP. I know you dont lose status when you are in a corp war, but what about pvp in 0.0 space.... and what about .1-.4 space
also how much of a security loss are we talking roughly when you kill a ship vs a pod
SECURITY STATUS
When you kill a player's ship, (and more seriously his pod) you receive a security rating drop. This can only be raised by killing battleship npcs, which is probably way above you at this point. Dont worry, if yu want to be a true pirate, you can worry about this later: just make sure you dont get trapped in a low security system surrounded by a lot of high security ones, as you may find it hard to get out. Once you reach -5.0 you can be shot ANYWHERE without penalty, so be aware.
Security ratings:
* -1.9 and above: you can enter all space freely
* -2.4 and above: you can enter all but 1.0
* -2.9 and above: you can enter all but 0.9 and above
* -3.4 and above: you can enter all but 0.8 and above
* -3.9 and above: you can enter all but 0.7 and above
* -4.4 and above: you can enter all but 0.6 and above
* -4.5 and below: you cannot enter secure space without being fired upon by the navy/concord

Look in the stickys I have a link made there on rules of aggression.
Basically its (current sec status minus -10)*below
Aggro 0.5%
Ship kill 2%
Pod kill 12.5%
So if your sec status is 5.0 and you kill a pod, you lose
(5 - -10)*12.5%
=a whopping 1.875
No sec loss for wars No sec loss for shooting an outlaw (-5 or worse) No sec loss in 0.0

ty, now how long after the POD would you roughly have to kill battleships or whatever to get standing back ?

The worse your sec status, the easier it is to increase it (because of the way the formula works)
If you started at 0.0 and podded someone it would take about 15 hours to get back to 0.0 assuming you get 4 sec increases of battleship size each hour.

Property Damage: -2.0%
This really got me, after grinding a while, I added 0.1 to my sec status, then wanted to clear a can out of the way. I really need to turn the criminal act warning back on when I'm trying to *increase* my status. -- Originally by: David Sinclair Drone AI has been upgraded. They are now demanding a vote in the target decision-making process, as well as newer, better upholstered drone bays.
