Greetings, Citizens of the EVE Galaxy. I come before you today to announce the official opening of Canball Incorperated. We here at GCBL are founding the first Galactic Canball League.
Information on Canball can be found here. For starters, our teams will be alts trained in T1 frigates, specific to the race of the team.
The teams will be as follows:
Gold Team: Amarr
Blue Team: Caldari
As our league grows, we will also add in Gallente and Minmatar Teams.
Interviews will be held for each team, beginning with three (1) center, Two (2) Linemen and two (2) defenders for each team. As stated in the above link, Tractor Beams will be the primary module, and Science 4 will be required to play once the League is started, although not necesserily required to join.
In order to reply, I request you submit an EVE-Mail with your main stating which team you would like to join, and which position you would like to try out for. I will also be setting up a channel (GCBL) with which you may join in person to ask questions about the league, although I will still require you to submit an Application via EVE-Mail for the purpose of Archiving.
Also, if you are interested in the League but not in participating, you can join the "FGCBL" Mailing List.
I will be posting positions and the players that occupy them as the slots are filled.

Does the effect of tractor beams stack if you use more than one? Will the can come to you faster? I've never tried it.

--All the teams are in one corp, in one gang (Remember, this is only a few days old and we are still smoothing out the edges). Players will be able to discern the two teams by setting the home team at +10 and the away team at -10 (The players will set eachothers teams to -10 as well)

As of this Saturday, i will be gone for roughly one week. I encourage all who wish to join to use this time to train up a Caldari or Amarr alt (depending on the team) to use Tractor Beams and any other non-lethal mods (i.e NOS, ECM, Webs, etc) they wish to use in the matches.
The popularity is growing, and slots will soon be filled up. Be sure to stop by GCBL chat or convo me to sign up!

Opposing corp; standings set +10 you should be able to tractor it.

if it's same corp, you just have everyone join the same corp and just split it up into gangs for games; not a problem.
