With no drones and large gun tracking, it will be near on impossible to get the scramming / webbing frigates off of you if they grab you.
The tier 3 BCs are probably the worst platform for belt ratting. Use a cane instead.

Also there's some more info out, less mass/agility, less tank and probably only 4 guns along with no drones

As long as you do not get webbed you should be able to keep frigs at range and be able to shoot them down with large auto cannons. The tornado is a little mach that is even faster, should be no problem at all to kite frigs with it.

i checked the oracle in some 0.5 belts...

I was ratting with a tornado on SiSi. Try this setup
High:
8x 1200mm Heavy 'Scout' Artillery
Med:
2x Sensor booster II (can change one for something else) Scan res scripts
2x Tracking Comp II (again can change one for something else if you so desire) Tracking scripts
1x Invulnerability field II
Low:
3x Gyros
1x Tracking enhacer
Rigs:
1x Medium projectile burst aerator
1x Proj. collision accel.
This setup worked pretty well for me, can hit anything out to your targeting range and insta-pops frogates. Also locks frigates pretty quick so warp to a belt at 70km and you are set. Hopefully they don't change much when it comes to TQ. |

To keep in line with the "beltratting with the new BCs" theme, I tried this fit on SiSi and it worked pretty well:
Naga:
High:
8x T2 425mm
Mids:
2x TC (optimal range + tracking)
2x Sebo (scanres)
MWD
3d Sebo/TC/whatever really
Lows:
3x Magstab
Rigs:
ACR, Metastasis, Locus
Aslong as you're 45+ away from everything you'll have little trouble placing good hits (optimal is about 70k).
The dps at range is surprisingly good, BCs get 2-shot, and battleships die nice and fast, depending on their type ofcourse. |

I have tried belt ratting and running and running anoms in Null in the oracle and naga. They both had no problem. Torps are a bit bad at shooting frigs. I ran the anom's you find in the onboard scanner in amarr null, so the sansha hidden den, sansha rally, sansha's rally, and 2 others. Never had a problem, just warp in at range and orbit whatever is closest to where the rats spawn, or even align to something. The oracle with 8 mega pulses works best. I grouped the 8 guns in 4 sets of 2. With scorch 1 goup insta pops the frigs.. so shoot whats closest first. They were badly fit and never had any tank issues..
oacle was fit:
8 t2 mega pulse
3 cap rech
1600 mm reinforced tung, large armor rep, 3 x heat sink..
Like I said it was badly fit and still did very well
