last night i decided to take out my stabber out for its first pvp exercise, ive never used anything bigger than a rifter in pvp on any character, infact im pretty new to pvp tbh, os off i go with my corp mate, in his rifter, lookin for some booty, and we come across this:
1 stabber and 1 scythe, (why the scythe was combat setup i dont know) great we thought as we saw them on the scanners, lets get them, so we warp to thier location, Ozkar gets in there first as usual in his rifter, and attacks, now these noobs attacked back !! shock horror, and didnt see me warp in seconds later in my slower stabber, as i proceeded to give both ships a good pasting, oz had to warp out once to get his shields back up, but he was soon back to give the scythe pilot a good podding. then i relaises how new these guys were lol oops cruisers can be decieving cant they?
so we convoed them, the scythe pilot seemed pretty harsh and angry but to her credit the stabber pilot was friendly and relaised its just a game, and asked us for advice on how to avoid us in the future. turned out they were looking at thier maps lol and wernt watching local the whole time they were in the 0.3 system.
all in all a good experience by all, kills and lots of thier hard earned rat loot for us, and good advice for them.

well actually yea to someone who kills billions of noobs everyday yea it might sound boring but that was one of my best kills to-date ,and its made me want to stay on killing , rather than play the carebear traders and miners i always did in the past.

To the OP: don't let the haters get you down.
Everyone has to start somewhere. You did right in that you picked some targets you could handle (even if they *were* looking at their maps, LMAO) and executed a good attack. Keep doing this and a few more dozen attacks or so and you'll be quite good at it.
I started PVPing in a frig, and now I do quite well at executing larger takedowns of multiple ships while leading gangs of a dozen or so people. Keep up the good work.

sounds like you had fun, which is what pvp is all about. ignore what the others said, taking on 2 cruisers in 1 cruiser and a frigate is still a job well done.

Wow, what an exciting read.
For those who didn't I'll sum it up to you.
We killed two noob crusiers and one was mad but the other talked to me asking how not to die in the future.

Jessica, thank you for taking time out of your pirating day to instruct people who need advice. It isn't something that happens as often as it should, especially when it's coming from pirates to their victims. By teaching them and instructing them you are giving back to the EVE community as a whole by helping elevate the overall knowledge. Suffoco does something very similar after almost every kill. A pilot chat in local about what went wrong, good fight, how to prevent things in the future, a few module/skill recommendations, and then we leave.
Keep it up and good work on the kill. --------------

I quite often try to help ppl I've shot down, if they talk to me afterwards (usually not the case lol). I've recruited quite a few people into my corp right after I've shot them down. And guess what? They don't get shot down again, because my corp and myself are helping them with loadouts and tactics.

Wow thank you Mr Jaddor for your constructive helpful post.
Without the sarcsm. please don't post unless you have something to add. This kind of post simply detracts from the topic.
To the OP, Nice job gl with your future pirating.
