Just for the record this aint a rant or anything i decided to do something random and theres a OMG FIX WCS NOW or STOP YER DAMN WHINING ! threads in just about every place
in my opinion nothing is perfect in any way and if wcs is the biggest problem in the world now theres going to be another big thread about something else somone doesnt like :)

WCS gimp a setup.
Losing two low slots gimps a setup more than fitting a warp scrambler.
Why not fit another damned warp scrambler?
P.S. CCP what about warp scrambling drones.

WCS in a nutshell.
Learn to tackle. If your target has 3+ WCS, then try using a multiple tacklers with +2 Scramblers. With 2 or 3 buddies in something as cheap as a kestral, you can effectively put an end to even the most WCSed ship you can find.
On the thought that it needs to be gimped..Why?
You loose a low slot and on most ships, low slots are very important. You need those slots for Armor Tanking Mods, PDUs, RCUs, Co-Processors, and so on. I consider it quite a gimp enought because you will run out of CPU or Power a lot sooner, not allowing your ship to run at its max potential.
Please stop with the WCS topics. If you don't like them, try to figure out a way around them before asking for the Nerf bat. You might not like what you get once/if it happens.

This was not a rant about WCS just meant as a horrible joke really
pancakes being the WCS while the more you burn the more you have on the syrup being the scramblers the more you use the sweeter the reward
but i mean in the end its like asking for somone to remove a firewall they have installed :)
not really important if people dont like them or like them in the end you have to realize your self that nothing is perfect and that changing everything to meet your own needs would only make the next person suffer and this will continue to happen all the time :)

If your target fits WCS, they gimp their setup. But since you can't possibly kill them 1v1, so what?
So fit more warp scramblers. Then you gimp your own setup. So when you fight a target who isn't a coward, they beat your gimped setup, designed to beat another gimped setup. (huh)
So effectively, WCS gimp your setup for an advantage (the ability to run from fights you are losing). The counter, more warp scramblers, gimps your setup for... absolutely no advantage. Wow. That sounds fair. 
I also like saying gimp a lot. Go figure.

Which would be fine by me if he was actually a runner. But these get fitted on aggresive combat ships, that will iniate combat then retreat if they lose... which is fine IF they lose. If they don't... well, they just got a kill at no risk to them.
Unless, of course, you fit more scramblers. Which gimps your own setup against people who don't fit WCS. And why should I be gimped in a fair fight because I had to change tactics to suit some coward who can't accept losing a ship?
WCS are fine on non-combat ship, just leave them the way they are but give them an actual combat penalty for fitting (tracking reduction, targetting time, etc).
ADDED - for people who say that fitting WCS, which take up slots, is enough of a gimp in itself - not if the counter gimps your ship own just as much.

its simple, if the guys gonna gimp his setup, so are you
at least you have +2 scramblers, while wcs is 1, so you still dont have to gimp yourselves so bad.

Because the WCS ***** gets an advantage for gimping his setup - they can run from battles where the opponent has 1 scramblers. Does the guy with lots of scramblers get an advantage? No, he gets gimped for nothing.
And no, 7.5km scrams are useless on anything bigger than a frigate not using blasters. 7.5km is just too close for most guns to be of any use.

I call for a 10% chance per shot to 'strike WCS so it falls off'. The same goes for the guy with a WCS fitted, who should have a 20% chance per shot to 'accidently pressed the release WCS button'.
No but seriously, imho, fitting a WCS should reduce the damage ALL weapons because:
1. If you travel with a load of valuable cargo it should be more than feasible to do so and successfully get through a little gate camp (valuable cargo can still be caught in a 'serious' gate camp, bubble and all...).
2. Those players who want to fight, PvP, usually Tempests and Ravens from my experience and ALWAYS pirates, should have their offensive setup seriously gimped 
There's nothing more dissatisfying than warping in on a sniper's spot, put three points on a sniping tempest and see it turn around and warp out when it's just about to reach structure

As i mentioned in another WCS whine thread allready:
WCS are great! They gimp the victim's setup while you drop your interdictor bubble on top of them. All those WCS do is make them die faster.
