I just tried this and aslong as the ship you want to "switch" to has a .blue file, it will look just as it should.
You just have to replace a few files...
The Caldari Titan is quite big. About 15 Ravens in length. [:shock:

Searched through my eve directories, but got only a lot of blues in my mapbrowser temp dir and 2 in the map folder, which cannot be those in question.

I like the "new" model more, but however...
Why not use both?
The "new" model for recent/new Amarr titans.
The "old" model for Khanids old, stolen titan... Like we will ever see that one.

Does anyone know the prerequisites for being able to train for the titan? I have a broad idea from what people mentioned in beta, but I'm hoping to get a solid confirmation on the skills you need to acquire and train the titan skill. Be nice to know so I dont waste a week+ on a level 5 skill I didnt have to train, or was misinformed. Things could change from now until they are implemented, but I'd like to make sure the list I have is current ;)

Well, as this is a server-based MMOG they shouldn't allow this kind of modifications in the first place.
EVE is actually easier to mod than most "moddable" games out there.

Your righteous indignation is truly frightening to behold.
There are not many secrets about the titans currently, seeing as they have been flown by players on the Chaos server. Additionally, all this modding (l33t h4x1ng!) is doing is replacing a few models ingame that are only viewable by one person. Also, images of all the ships have been extracted from the info contained within the Eve client and posted on these forums, so the models truly aren't never before seen.
On another note... I'm betting CCP will put in a 'fix' making it impossible to edit the files like this in the future, as it does lessen the potential immersion factor.

I have never seen a titan on chaos and i frequent it often. Afaik, anyone with the ability to actually spawn one, is not allowed to. |

Every titan is unique, or so I thought. The old one is the Kanid titan, the jellyfish is the amarr empire titan
