Ok this isn't a post about what you find the best ship for PVP but really the most fun. For me personally since I first saw it the Thorax has been the ship I've liked above all others.
During the time I have been in Eve I've seen it go from a so so ship to the uber 1600mm plate, 150mm + 8 heavy drone monster pre RMR to what it is now which is a much more balanced, flexible and in my opinion more fun ship to fly. From solo to small group to blob conflicts I can find a setup that makes it fun from the obvious T2 electron blaster + 800mm plate setup to the more unusual fits such as an ECM support Thorax (don't knock it, would you think it was the one jamming you?  ). Finally a T2 fitted Thorax is easily affordable and thus you don't feel sick as a dog when you loose one unlike some people must feel when their faction fitted HAC goes down.
Anyway what is your favourite ship to pvp in and why?

A combat osprey with 2x webbers is fun for fighting inties / assault frigs, and being an osprey people will usually attack it rather than running off.

I love my Rifter, post RMR it's ace. Fast, cheap, still packs a punch and people don't tend to leg it as soon as they see one. Gets you more fights!

Over my few months in the world of EVE, I had more fun with the Thorax fighting than any other ship of its price :) With decent skills and good fighting conditions it stands a chance with bigger threats and is an incredible tackler, due to its MWD bonus... I had a few opportunities to tackle Ravens in this ship and surviving long enough to pin them down for the fire support to arrive, leg it, then come back aqnd put some drone loving on the targets :)
Other than this, the Megathron is what gives me the kicks, but with the current state of this ship's modules CPU requirements, it is much too pricey to fit as i would like it to be fitted ;-) (having said that, I just lost 3 sets of best named items and the carrying Megathrons in pvp  )
And yes, Gallente stereotypical type of combat suits me more than fine! Come up close, blast away, let the starving drones feed

Domi is great....also the vexor..........great with the drone skills.......domi is good cos u can stop jammin' that bit easier....i have always lost ships being jammed.

Ill second that :) I love PvPing in a Propechy, people usually underestimate it and loose. Using 4 t2 pulses with t2 ammo and 3 Medium NOS with a MWD, Webber and Scram works wonders. The Prop is a tough nut to cr@ck too!
