The effects of an indoor snowstorm: Ooo White
and after a restart of the client someone must have been real busy with a snowblower: Owwww Shucks
Now, the question is, is this a mem leak? It got progressively worse, then the game just slowed right down, after a quick restart of the client (not PC) everything improved to how it should be. While in space I also had invisible/albino customs agents... thought I had a screenie but obviously not

You can edit your prefs.ini line called buffersize to equal half of your physical memory which seems to help a lot.
it normally reads:
buffersize=80
I have a gig of ram so set it to :
buffersize=1024
I posted the ram sizes in another thread, but thought this might help the math challenged, or those who might not know the sizes of memory. I made this little list by only including 128 meg sticks, if you have other divisions, you can open a calculator to figure out your ram size based on the list.
RAM sizes and their divisions along with the value to use for buffersize:
128 megs: buffersize=64
256 megs: buffersize=128
384 megs: buffersize=192
512 megs: buffersize=256
640 megs: buffersize=320
768 megs: buffersize=384
896 megs: buffersize=448
1024 megs (1.00 GB): buffersize=512
2048 megs (2.00GB): buffersize=1024
hope this helps ``````BEGIN```````` ------RANDOM------- ~1337~~~~~~~5P3@K~~

I feel compelled to reply to this one, as I'm unsure if I'm experiencing a memory leak too.
Basically, after about 6 hours of playing EVE, the memory used has grown to 1.2GB, and the gameplay stutters almost exactly every minute. Restarting the EVE client sorts it out again....
