I know it's sort of silly, but the Rapid Light Missile Nerf just took the fun out of this game for me. I had 7 accounts and 13 characters. Best wishes to all of you who enjoy the space simulator games. PS.. before you ask... I deleted (10 hour wait) all my toons, so I suppose the billions will die with them.

The only game to provide Matrix style gameplay for the masses! (trouble is, most people don't have 9 hours to waste on a one hour fight.)

Considering the time and effort put into all your chars would it be better just to hold them for a bit. Somthing might change and if you decide to come back you can carry on. Care to donate a combat character? Getting the girlfriend into eve and need her in something useful. Would make a great Christmas gift for her. If you are into d&d type stuff esoteric is coming along nicely. I was in a few betas.

Give yourself some time, visit the newest MMOs out there, play some other games, see that the average age of other game communities is probably about 15 years old (if you are lucky), than come back and see that rapid light missle nerf was actually a very tiny piece of fun in EVE. P.S. I cross trained my gallente char with amarr, therefore there is a very small chance that all three toys - blasters, drones, lazors will be broken at the same time. P.S.2 Why on earth would you want to destroy all the isk? If you really want to quit, do some people a christmas present, give them few months of plying for free. Not everybody is EVE rich you know :) Shoot them all! Be polite.

Well there are player made stargates on the horizon, which currently seems to get a solid meh from the community according to my excitement detector. Good luck with whatever game you decide to go for. They get a meh because they'll just be dominated by ridiculously large null coalitions (just like high sec POCO's). For the other 80% of subscribers they'll be deployed for a day till they're blown up by ridiculously large coalitions so why would we care (other than that the majority of our sub money goes to provide content for 10% of players).

Attention whoring. Although, this is a poor effort. Look at me! I don't like something and want you to know it! Could be another, I'm done....but I'm addicted to this game so the only way to really quit is to get worked up about something to convince myself to delete all my characters. But when I come back, I'll laugh it off and tell this story about how I deleted 10 toons, one of them with two titans and my own station in a wormhole, to a bunch of noobs in rookie chat, while I try to find a char to buy with plex to get back to where I started. With 500,000 subscriptions the number of systems is just too small to be enjoyable for me. Think I might try Great Wildlands and if that's full of POS and Stations I'll unsub.

But on another note, i have thought about unsubbing many times alot recently but the amount of money and time i have invested stops me. and biomassing your toons is just a little silly and wasteful. Either sell them and leave the isk with your oldest toon and maybe you will come back later, or damn, if they are any good ill pay the transfer fee.

The risk of having your day ruined by other people is the cornerstone with which EVE was built and we want to keep that (infact, this is much more representative of the consensus opinion within CCP).
