Hi all, mi question is, are there any warfare, hability or others that makes lock targets faster?
Someone can explain how sensor strength works?
stronger sensors, faster lock?
Thanks for all ;)

Any module that adds to "Signal Resolution" decreases the locking time. --- Regional Sell orders |

Edited by: Pottsey on 08/03/2006 12:57:29 Get two auto target lock modules and set them off at different times. This will lock every enemy in 30km shooting at you every 2.5 seconds even if someone lowers you lock speed you still lock them in 2.5 seconds.
Make sure your not doing a normal lock though. If your doing a normal lock at 30seconds then the Auto target lock cannot engage in 2.5 seconds.
Some people have auto lock set in the options. So the enemy locks you, your ship starts to lock back and the module cannot auto target. _________________________________________________ Nominate famous people in Eve who had an impact on you. |

hello kenob and welcome to eve :)
the signature resolution is the attribute on a ship that determines your locking speed..
there are mods to enhance your SIGNATURE RESOLUTION, and your TARGETING RANGE(these modules enhance both). you will find these modules useful in many situations.
the modules that will help your targeting speed are sensor boosters and signal amplifiers. sensor boosters are "much" more effective. (sensor boosters are active mods that require an open medium slot to fit and a very small amount of cap to activate) (signal amplifiers are passive and require a low slot to fit) the cpu/power usage of these modules are nearly identical.
please remember the advice as to what order you should train these skills is an opinion :)
1) imo, the first thing you should do is train "signature analysis" to lvl 3 or 4. the signature analysis skill only requires electronics lvl 1.
2) next u should train "long range targeting" which requires electronics lvl 2. this skill is required to use sensor boosters.
the signal amplifier mods only require the electronics skill being trained.
follow these steps and in no-time u will be able to setup your ships to insta-lock any target :)
if and when u have other questions answered just send me a mail :)
