ohnoes
how much has pricing changed since RMR? HACs have gone up, but not that much else. besdies, who's game is it ruining? not mine (no, i own no t2 BPOs. yes, i fly HACs)
saying anyone who disagrees with you is stupid is not a good way of starting a thread on a forum.

Edited by: Omega Sinner on 08/03/2006 17:55:52 I thinks thats the Point cause I don't care what ppl think..and to say HAC's have gone up alittle is an under statment..and you are stupid if you can't see a mod going from 3mill to 20mill or other items with similar raises which is alot of items in this game..and really I didn't say anybody that disagree's is stupid I just said anybody that doesn't see it you can disagree all you want saying stuff like its natural for prices to go up but mostly its greedy ppl who buy items then try and double or triple the cost..

Some items indeed have gone up since rmr, but if you were to look at other items you will find they have gone down, For a while after rmr it was rare for my (old) corp not to hear me cursing some nice little isk earner not being one anymore.
Sure some tech II has gone up in value, this is simply because demand is increasing with the player base, however alot of other items are going down in value.
If you examine the forums you will find that there are a huge number of threads over the past few months that discuss the general decrease in prices and how hard it is to compete in the markets due to the glut of goods. Still its all fun. It adds more spice to the game.
One of the problems I have found in many games is that often you reach a point whereby you can buy most anything you like and not be concerned over the price, so this in many respects is nice. _______

Everything? Everything? If you really believe that, I have a hangar full of named modules to sell you. I've seen a lot of modules drop in price steadily recently, possibly due to a combination of increases in mission runner numbers and drop frequency changes.
PS: If you really want to be mocked for your beliefs, drop into the Market Discussions channel.

Uhm.. You COULD build stuff and sell it cheaper you know?
this is what capitalism is.
You can make something so you sell it. If you are the only one selling it, you put your price as high as possible. Take the profits, sink them back in the business to improve production costs, so it's even cheaper to make, and bump the price up for the "Cost of upgradeing production" and so on.
Eventually you have something that costs 1% of it's sale price.
if something is being sold for 100Million, and you can make it for 40Mill, sell it below their price. 90Mill. You'll make up un volume what you loose in margin.

Everything has gone up in price?
Like Tritanium, which is now 1.6 instead of 3.5?
Or Pyerite, which is now 4.5 instead of 8?
Or Mexallon, which is now 13 instead of 28?

Yeah, but these who own patents can also build new factories to speed up production to meet the demand, which isnt happening eve where demand keep going up while supply stay same.

Patents aren't very usefull unless you can fill the demand to the brim. They don't last forever.
I don't see Intel steping down its output to make its CPUs rare.
