I am atm put flying in my raven without working overview. I donŠt know what happend really, just that suddenly it stoped to display what is in my sourrindings(spelling). All it says is "Nothing found", and I can see several of my corp mates just a few meters away, they just donŠt show up on overview. I have tried alot of things, restarted, didnŠt work, restarted on another computer, didnŠt work. Update overview, didnŠt work. Changeing overview settings, DonŠt work. Removing and adding random ships from overview, makes no diffrence.
I am not the only one either, there are more of us in the same system, suffring from the same flaw. This is annoying, and IŠm out of ideas.
Anyone else have any ideas on how to fix this?

my overview has been trashed since just a few days before the blood patch.
last night,i was mining with 2 gang members.both in my corp.
one of them showed up in my overview, and one of them didnt !
i checked to make sure all ship types were ticked..yep.
i have 3 presets,the guy in the mammoth did not show up on any of them.
the only way i could get him to show on the overview was by selecting default--but that doesnt really work long term..because you remove the things you dont want, like billboards,concord etc..save as a new preset..and its broken again.
real pita.

I belive this error shows up when someone changes ship in space. After they changed ship they turn up near you and your overview turns nuts, tab stops working when you want to uppdate it manualy.
Usualy when ppl shange ships in space they just show up in overview with the ship type name. Now they donŠt show up at all and then the overview turns blank.
Well anyway itŠs a theory but it is the only thing I can think of it was the only thing that was diffrent from when i usualy fly around in space.
It made our entire mining op blind in overview. Anyway, the overview starts working again when you leave the system.

Around the newbie starting station (for Gallente) (Advanced School) there are a hell of a lot of abandoned newbie ships and shuttles ... Whenever I exit the station there my overview is broken, displays nothing ... As soon as I warp somewhere else my overview works correctly including undocking from other stations. However when I go back to the initial station I can't see the newbie ships on my overview and then when I undock again the overview breaks and says nothing is there (throwing a bunch of record exceptions in the log).
This just me, or others too? |

I have the same overview problem. It's been driving me crazy, and it's a real hazard during fleet ops.
A stopgap solution is to reset your overview to default, (not any of your own presets) and change everything back again. Temporary, but better than nothing.

Logged in today and exiting the station, the overview now works ... Maybe they fixed it :)

i had same problem(similat)
basically the didtances were not being updated
now seems ok

This happens when it is too 'crowded'. It only happened to me at the station i started: Advanced studies, can't remember what system.
I asked the chat channel, and they told me about this. Something about: Go warp to someplace else and it'll work again.
And sure enough it did.

Same problems here. A lot of others threads about this same issue. We need to look into the forum before posting a new thread or they (CCP and CCP fanboys) will say this only happens with a few players...

This happened tonight to a corpmate and myself during a mining op in 0.0. There were only 8 of us in system, so crowding isnt the answer. Warping isnt the answer. Relogging and re-booting isnt the answer. All of these were tried multiple times. Finally after the op was over and after another relog, the problem corrected itself for me.
This is thefirst time in a couple weeks it has happened. Nothing changed on my system in the last few days.
Oh well....
