Has CCP stated any policy on pirates camping at a jump-in location?
I've heard there is no 10 second invulnerability timer at jump-in locations, and that they can lock you down at close range.
I've also heard there will be a module that changes jump-in locations to your location? Is there any additional information on this?

I've heard that profitable pirating is becoming a thing of the past.

And who's fault is that?
Partly because of the pirates themselves. Not really weird if you camp the same systems day after day people start avaoiding them. Start avoiding 0.0 at all even.
It's sad there are so few other 0.0 things to do yet like smuggling, stolen cargo clearing, assasination etc. --- soonÖ |

Police + pirates in the same jump gate? That's really obvious....
Pirates gave money to Police/navy to close their eyes...
Now try to shoot other player to see Pirates and Police start shooting at you :-) (if u are in a secured system)... try to give money to police to close their eyes before pod you! Opps that option is not available ;-) dammm

Not at all. And you have only yourself to blame if it does.
If you instead left your little system and went to other systems, hunting down all those people mining and chaining in the belts, I bet you would both make more money and have more fun.
I find it hard to believe you really find it fun to camp a gate with several battleships just to shoot down an indy or shuttle now and then. The only fun thing must be the mails you recieve afterwards.
Regarding yesterday, though I don't think you were present during the first battle, I think you had a hellofalot more fun than usual.
Though you must realized your tactic was very unfair and should be classified as an exploit from now on. But I don't whine about loosing our ships. It was still very fun. We're in this game for PvP. And to enjoy PvP you need to have the resources so you're not afraid of taking losses.
But I do hope that CCP changes the mecanic of jump in points very fast.
Otherwise my bet is we will soon see 30 battleships from RUS/Sin/m0o camping the spawnpoint in FD-MLJ, while there are 30 MASS battleships at the spawn point in PF-346 and another 30 battleships from FA at the spawnpoint in the system "north" of FD-MLJ... Sounds fun?

I never pirate players in 0.0 systems. Reason, is there anyone that would transport really juicy stuff in and out of 'known' systems? No, if you want to turn a real profit, kill an afk trader that hasen't been checking his pathways all that good and there are .4 systems without guns at the gates. 'hint hint'. Only regret is that you do take a serious sec. hit.

Keep on flaming, lamers.

Yes, Dalman has a point. Throw in an random variable so you can end up anywhere in the system within a 100.000km radius. And the game drive really needs to get a dedicated fast server that can take the load when big battles occurs from that system. That is, dedicated one (solar)system battle server to crunch the bitstreams.
Keep on flaming, lamers.
