Spamming small towers was a bugged system especially since the costs were wrong, there was no "maintance" and no timers involved. Everyone involved in the early days will tell you the pros and cons and i think the devs made a post somewhere stating why and what was changed and improved. A Large tower requires alot more "work" and isnt spammed, usually 2-3 do the job and any alliance with some strength and dignity can remove them via "capital ships" a feature which was also upgraded since the early days of pos warfare. As for slothe and his definition of 5, not sure what delta will do however shinra and m corp both didnt play huge factors in the northern operations. Empire maybe but by your own admission it was atuk and reign fighting north and prolly delta. This war was declared upon us not to achieve some goal but to fight for our disbanding and total devastation. Both goals werent achieved for our opposition and since they retraced the mutal wars its safe to say who "won", a victor wouldnt retract and a victor holds the "cup". FE role in all this can fill other topics but i guess i agree with most our pilots and just say "well done boys, proud to be 5".

About the RA pos war. 5 are a pvp alliance, their members LOVE to pvp, RA cheated them and never gave them any real pvp, instead RA did nothing but log in right after, and before DT and spamm small poses (wich in that time were VERY VERY VERY CHEAP). when I mean spamm small poses, i mean put up 50 per system. And during the actual day, they wouldnt fight. 5 seeing this, they didnt want to get involved in MONTHS of no fighting, but anchoring and shoooting stations, 5 arent for this, they dont play the game for this. RA wanted the space so bad, so they can ecoughcoughbay and live (some of them not all, but their key members) , 5 decided screw it lets search for pvp and fun. ahhhh so FE PA and nbsi decide to declare victory after 5 leave the south. new shiny target they made themselves. As far as the job 5 has done in the north. Alot of you are blind, i mean soooo blind. ever hear of DIVIDE AND CONQUER??? because thats what was done, a brilliant strategy by the 5, a beatiful job done there. the entire north was divided, and worse it was turned AGAINST each other. 5 did an amazing job, and should be given props for it. divide and conquer.

After taking quite a bit of punishment for their then 'allies' we gained enough mutual respect to understand each other. You can look to the south to see how well RA is doing now on your own. To me it looks like they are getting their asses handed to them on a plate by LV and company (grats for that btw). When we fought them their we pretty much steamrolled them, dont forget we held cache for the better part of a few months (RA's main home) and virtually every other region in that area. RA as per usual found a loop hole and exploited that. Rather than be fools like some alliances and watch our corporations degenerate due to endless boredom of weeks of killing 25M isk small unarmed towers (when dreads were 25% weaker and range sucked) we said **** it. We always ended to go finish RA off, but seems like there wont be anything left for that. Lets see, we had 5 war decs plus MC hired to try and kill us. With NBSI retracting their war we will have none. Also, feel free to check the map as well. To say we didnt achive a victory is comical. Risk couldnt even take BKG and NBSI couldnt retain their best corps.

I wasn't part of the 5 before the northen war but if you compare the 5 that killed xetic and the 5 right now I can understand how people think it's weaker than before.
