Blasterrax ftw. 5x med ions/electrons, mwd/web/scram in mids and active tank in lows. Works wonders.

Edited by: Harper04 on 09/03/2006 20:56:58 Blasters!
Highs: t2 med electrons Meds: 10mn mwd, webby, scram Lows: 2 energized nanos, 800mm plate, med rep, damage mod/cap relay
or
Lows: 1 energized nano, 1 explosive active hardener, 800mm plate, med rep, damage mod/cap relay
Good amt of armor and damage, watch out for anything dealing explosive damage with the first setup though
Quick edit, your range will suck with blasters...but the damage is MUCH higher than rails. It's all a tradeoff.

/emote waves hand...those other ammos are not the ones you are looking for...
Antimatter is the ONLY ammo you should be using with blasters, except for the special rare circumstances that an npc frig is staying 10km or so from you and you absolutely can't hit it.
Things within 10km get webbed and pwn'd. Things further than 10km are what drones are for .

Lead: -50% cap use. Thorium: -40% cap use.
Handy for extending your tank's duration... or so sez my blasterthron... ----------------------------------
Industrialist. I build it. You buy it. You break it and buy another one. Market domination through ingue ferrogue. (I did this and could have stopped it.)

Might slightly increase your tanking/cap, but will gimp your damage to the point that most ships will simply laugh at you.

Just for some kicks...try this setup:
4x 280mm howie 1x med nos mwd, 20km scram, web or ECM multi med rep, 1600mm plate, nano, exp hardener, (another hardner or cap relay)
I use named or t2 on all the above and its a fun ship to fly. I rely on my 5 med drones to do most of my damage to larger ships and smaller ships including inty die with ease.
