Dunno what u guys call it here but it was called 2 boxing in eq hehe. Anyway, i wanna play 2 chars at the same time. But the problem i have is that when i Alt-tab to 2nd char the mouse curser dissaperes for awhile, sometime like 10 sec or so. And that aint fun when pirates is o my butt  Any ideas what this can be?

Ohh btw if there are any other 2boxers out there please feel free to give me some advice/pointers on optimal settings to make things smoother

Have the game running in a window instead, then you can alt-tab as much as you wish.

Ya but then I have another prob, for some reason i get much more lag on my curser when im in windowed mode....

Still havent figured out why I lagg with my cursor when I have eve in windowed mode... Any sugestions?

Turn off your sound, and make sure you have EVE installed in it's own directory for each instance you run. Also make sure the screens are overlapping, so that you can only see one instance at any given moment.
And if your cursor disappears, move it far to the bottom or right. Once the cursor moves off screen, the graphic for it is re-drawn.

OK, I have to toss this out...
2-boxing is NOT running 2 instances of the game on one PC, that is called dual logging.
2-boxing is when you are running 2 computers side-by-side (2 boxes, get it?).
I do both, I sometimes run 2 accounts on one PC, and at other times will run one account on my desktop and a 2nd account on my laptop.
I have not seen this issue on either my desktop or my laptop, so I am sorry, I cant help you out with that.

I play up to 4 accounts some times 2 accounts on each computer.
