Hey about 2 months back i got eve online and played for maybe a month until i realized my character sucked bad,so I decided to quit playing eve until the new bloodlines came out.Well now the new bloodlines are out and Im planning on making a khanid?? I think if thats the amarr one :P,I dont wanna make my character because I fear messing him up.Im planning on being a pirate/fighter and instead of starting out by training all of my learning skills I wanted to train all of the basic fighting/ship module skills ect.(enough to get me strong enough to do some fighting)Than just train the learning skills so I have something to do while training the learning skills. So i need someone to help me plan out my skills for doing that effenciantly:(.Also another thing I would like to know is what should my base stats be??and what options should i chose in terms of starting skills(like the schools ect.)
Sorry if this post is hard to understand.I really suck at making posts on forums for some reason.
Anyways thanks in advance for helping my skill planning I hope that i gave enough information. XD

your best bet is to go to www.eve-ffet.com and use their most excellent "Eve Character Manager". It'll do pretty much everything but change the skills for you (only Eve can do that )

You could consider going with Achura, it's the current fotm AND it's Caldari to boot. So you only have to train missiles and be able do fight decently within like, 2 weeks already. Achura have the best startup attributes.
Perception is a good attribute to have high, then I suppose intelligence, memory and willpower. Ignore charisma, it's not very important.

You could try and hit your enter key a little more often. Also, you could put a space after you end a sentence. :)

Okay I'm familiar with most spaceship command and gunnery skills.Other skills in electronics, mechanic, ect. I have no idea what to get. So I would like to know which of those types of skills have top priorty and which I would need to fight decently before training my learning skills.
Secondly something else I dont know if I mentioned it but what skills should I chose for my starting skills? My friend tells me to just train it where I start out with 4 in frigate. Although I only plan on flying frigs so is frig4 needed that soon,or should I pick up gunnery skills instead? Also if I go achura should I get missile skills to boot or the spaceship command ones?
Thanks in advance.

Edited by: Mike Yagon on 11/03/2006 01:04:22 Your friend is right, go with the Frigate 4 line. It will save you a lot of time. It allows you to start training missile and/or gunnery skills right away.
As for support skills, be sure to pick up Engineering and Electronics, they will allow you to fit more onto your ship. Then look at some of the shield skills. You can use those to improve your tank. Ofcourse, you will start running out of capacitor, for which you can get Energy Management and Energy Systems Operation.

Okay so if I decide to go achura vs khanid IYO which of these bloodlines has better stats?? Also which of these races have the better PvP frigates?? Im still having a hard time chosing in between the two,the punisher and the kestrel both look awesome.

Edited by: Mike Yagon on 11/03/2006 13:39:36 The current balance favours Caldari and their missiles because they are easy to train, do good damage right of the bat and the Achura has excellent PvP combat oriented char attributes. (High perception!)
Khanid, the Amarr counterpart, requires a little more gunnery training. Though, if you can muster some patience, they will be just as good if not better. (Plus I think Khanid chars look nicer. )
