Hi there!
As a new player wanting to give my Amarr char a little more depth, i wonder if there is some background information on the religion of the Amarr empire.
I know it is based on some conservative catholicism, but sure alot has changed in those 200 centuries.
So who I am praying to?

Yeah, the EVE Lore never gets more specific than "God".
A God who, apparently, condones slavery, witchhunts, lying/stealing/murdering to advance your position, and greed.
Reading the Amarr Lore always seems to depress me.

There is only one in EVE who you will pray to, and that is The Darklord. If you would like The Darklords Prayer please eve mail me and I will send it to you. Also will send you some verses out of the 'Great Book'. If you dont know who the Darklord is you will soon enough find out.

Do you have any idea how old, pointless and sad that that is.
Xirtam's influence on EVE ended a long time ago. Besides, even when he had influence he was used as a puppet by those around him anyway.

You should really read the Old Testament of the Bible, its got all of those things in SPADES!

There is no profit to be made from prayers. It is one of the many reasons the Amarr are inferior to the Caldari State.
