Question:
If the duel system is allowed by CONCORD as an honorable settlement of differences (high sec)... why can other players interfere and Remote Repair and only be Flagged and not Concorded?
Doesn't this completely defeat the reasoning of CONCORD to allow such? Seems to me that CONCORD would interfere with anyone intruding in like that.
I'm just curious as I see a lot of that going on lately and it seems to be the latest kick to exploit people. |

Does Concord as an entity really make sense?
They don't protect trade. They don't protect borders. They are preventive and a deterrent in no way whatsoever. Be nice if CCP applied some logic behind their actions.
This thread has so much content it may be 'Thread of the Year' and it is only January.

Because while it says "duel" it is infact just an automated way of enabling a limited engagement flag to be set between yourself and them, this flag is the same as if you had fired on them after stealing from a loot can and people repping them would just add themselves to the limited engagement, i decline duels to avoid any such issues, you should do the same or settle your differences in a system far away from anyone :P

I do not settle my differences with so called "Legit" duel systems, I tend to just pay corporations to handle my problems, usually with excessive force. However when a duel does happen there is this broadcast about CONCORD and honor and stuff which brings me to this whole thread. |

Concord only exist to punish erring capsuleers after the fact, that is all, they are not the police.
