I love this game, I am so glad I picked up that trial. And thank all of you for the great tutorials but I still have a few questions.
On tranquility I have 3 characters, I plan on getting a second account soon, They are all fighters My Mains are Minmatar and Amarr, and I have a caldari.
I have completed the tutorial agent missions and the missions of the agent that person gives you.
I don't know what to do now. I would like to fight some, get some combat missions, or hunt for pirates. But I don't know how or where to go. I am on my second frigate on my Amarr and I am a day of skill training away from a destroyer for my minmatarr.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for being whiney but I really like this game and I'd like to know just what to do in it now :P

To find a new agent you need to pick a corp to work for (NPC corp that is) and search their name using the People and Places search. Once you find the corp, you need to click on the Agents tab to check what agents are available to you, then you look at where they are, and go there, and do the missions. 
NPC hunting in belts isn't the best, but its good for passing the time (except in 0.0 where its a nice money maker, but its much harder than empire, and not recommended till you know some more about the game and whats involved there) You want to be looking at a 0.6-0.5 system if you are in a frigate.
PvP combat is where you would probably want to head though, if you want to be a good fighter. For this, you need to get some basic skills for tackling, and join up with a corp that does PvP. It's great fun, though you will likely lose money doing it rather than make it

Get an industrial and haul some minerals to sell and get your cash flowing first. Then look into a combat ship like the punisher. But to get the industrial you need to buy a frigate with a mining bonus.

It's easier not to see this as a traditional RPG. You choose what you want to do and then you focus on doing it the better than everyone else. The story is in the background.

I quit WoW to come play this so forgive me if I am slow.
But like in there the goal is to reach endgamne and raid And of course PVP like here. Whats the endgame goal for eve?
And Do the Amarr/Minmatarr have Navy corps that you can work for? they'd give combat missions right?
And In conclusion to all this I am generally abit lost on where I want to go in the realm of ships I want in the future, or guns and other ship mods that I need.
I'd really like to join a corp to get some help and maby help others, but I guess I am to noob.
Thanks for the help that was informative, but answers generally raise more questions so I've found.

What might help most is focusing on one toon. You may only train one character at a time so getting one skilled up enough to do better missions or killing rats is going to be the best path. If you want to keep the other ones hold off training them till you get a second acct. then transfer them over. If you are going to get the destroyer try to find an area about .5 to .6 security and has alot of asteroid belts. then make the rounds killing all the frigate npc's, this is basicaly what a destroyer was designed for so it should work out well. If you don't train for the destoyer the Rifter can handle the duties nearly as well, thanks to its speed and small sig radius. It lacks the firepower of the thrasher, so it may take longer.

Yeah I've been focusing on my minmatarr until I have enough cash to get the second account. and I already bought the destroyer I'm just waiting for the skill to train up.

The simple answer is there is no end game. There is no level cap. There is no "getting all the skills to 5" and now what? There are so many options that its hard to narrow down, but i will try. You could for example take part in "raids" on high level complexes. You could also get into pos's and create reactions for t2 production. You could join up with a corp in an alliance and help defend teritory or go out and secure more. Piracy is an option many go for at some point. Level 4 missions pay very well and you will get some nice loot too. You could also try and take over the market focusing on some specific items. The great thing about eve is its constantly being expanded with new content, so there are always new skills to train or new ships to fly. I havent been playing long really but every day I am more and more intrigued by this game.
The best thing about eve I would have to say is the people who play it. These forums are hundreds of pages deep with helpful hints and encouragment. Take some time if you have it and get into the older pages, some of them arnt as relevent anymore because of patches and stuff, but there is a wealth of information here.

But I mean as for my next step, how do I find a corp. MY funds are depleted after buying a destroyer, Projectile guns, and some skills. How do you find a corp and agents? Or Equip a ship effectively for that matter.
Thanks for all of your help though, tomorrow I will have more time hopefully and will be able to read this forum more in depth.

i dunno about your race, but my 1st destroyer was a great entry-level miner ship to mine in hi-sec. Get some miner 1, find a .5 or .6 that as Omber ore in it and you should get your 1st million by the end of the week if you play on a regular basis. Hope that helps and welcome to Eve

I'm also a newb and till now found plenty to do. Agents you can find by picking a corp u wanna work for, thinking about the departments and then getting an agent who wants you - all that can be done by clicking on People and Places, then search, then lets say search your faction, check which corps they have, click on the one of your liking and clicking on agents (I found that the skill Connections helps tremendiously if u wanna get to level 2 missions quickly).
Ratting you can do in asteroid belts with a sec smaller than .8 (i think). Try to find the biggest rats you can handle, the bigger the better the loot.
Joining a corp shouldnt be too hard either, check the recruitment forums or recruitment channels (havent tried though). But maybe u wanna explore the universe on your own or with some newbie friends first...
The best thing i think is to find some buddies ingame and do stuff with them - you could mine in a team or rat hunt - that way you can kill bigger rats and get much better loot.
Or explore the galaxy... I've been travelling quite a lot. Try out lowsec... see where u get blown up. Dont be scared, mostly you'll be alright. Just be prepared that someone might shoot at you, but its rather rare i find.
Pvp: I tried it and it didnt really work out for me. People of about my age are *very* rare in lowsec, probably because they are told that they REALLY REALLY shouldnt go there because they would be blown up immediately... Thats not true.
Or try trade... Again, i tried it, found even some opportunities to earn good money but made quite a mistake by buying much too much... Well, in 1 month everything will be sold with profit, of course thats much too long, but so what? We play to learn.
