I was just curious if someone could tell me how much skillpoints in general, you need before you can start to pilot a Cruiser at an entry level?
For example, I am using a Merlin right now and am looking to upgrade into the Moa, but I only ahve about 40K SP in Gunnery, and even less in most of the other categories.
(400K in Learning, and the basic skills needed to fly the Moa as well.)

If you're looking to run level 2 missions, I think you'll be surprised how relatively unskilled you can be and still effectively clear missions quickly. I don't know Caldari ships but I'd recommend Cruiser 3-4, Cruiser sized missiles (heavy missiles?), missile support skills, and the basic electronics and engineering skills that help you run a ship more effectively. I ran level 2 missions in my Thorax and only used a shield booster for tanking. They're really not that hard.

I just ran all the level 2 missions in a caracal, and i have only 300k skillpoints that is not in Learning. You need the basic skills to shoot the weapons and drive the boat, basicly.. thats it.
Had to warp out a few times on the missions containing several sub-missions though, and took armor damage a few times.

Get in cruisers as fast as you can, there is no such thing as an entry requirement for them. The related skills are still low rank and easily trained. Yet the gain you make will be so much larger.

I have 30k SP in gunnery and use a thorax, and don't have many problems with lvl2 missions. so on that end you should be fine.
My sig needs some color in it. |
