I was just wondering what is the usual split from mining and hauling between a hauler and a mining barge, with the barge only mining and the hauler picking up his ore to take back to a station.
How should these two players split the ore/money?

In terms of M3.
10,000 m3 around 200k I want to say.
People usually pay around 450k to haul 10,000 m3 over 5 jumps on Courier missions. I don't see why you can't charge 100k - 200k to take it back to the station.
1 can of pyrox = around 2.3 mil with sell-orders. 1 can = 27k m3

stick a miner2 on the hauler and go 50/50 on the ore's value.

If group work, then it should be 50-50. Keep your comrades happy.

I haul a lot also and its been for 50/50. hauling is harder work then mining :P well at least more active work.

I mine while someone else hauls occasionally. When this happens, I always go 50/50 and I never cheat them cos next time they may refuse to give me the ore to refine after they've hauled it to the station.

50/50 always. I always do an equal split in mining ops no matter how many miners and haulers are on. Don't forget that if you are mining in 0.4 and below to include your security ship as well if you have one. Gang up and you will all split the bounties as well.

I always 50/50 or equal share if more than 2 in a mining op, its only fair.

Particularly if the hauler has a barge aswell, otherwise why would he haul for you if its not 50/50?

Even split between miners, haulers and escorts. Always.
