To whom it may concern:
First of all, this statement is not the view of my corporation. I didn't ask permission to write this or to publicly file it. If they support it then so be it.
Today, 3 more pilots of Manu Forti died under the torrent of SRS guns. Many die everytime we enter their space. These are loyalists of the Tetrimon Cult. For the most part, I must admit, that these pilots that die are less than skilled at the art of piloting.
However, they support a cause that in the eyes of SRS will be punished. We kill these people because they support something so vile we can not even stand the taint of their existence. The Tetrimon Cult is a clear and present danger to Matari everywhere. Therefore, the deaths of it's supporters are paramount.
Sadly, the upper echelon of Manu Forti leaders have misled their pilots. SRS are not mercenaries. We have not been paid to kill you. You simply support the wrong cause. It is evident that your faith is not helping you. This day and every day will lead to more of your deaths.
Ask your leaders to see reason. Save your own skin. We will continue killing you while your leaders hide under whatever rock they have found. You pay the price and they stay comfortable.
Renounce your faith. Stop the worship of Tetrimon idealism. That is the only way to stop your blood being shed.
Vapor.

After all the years of the Empire hunting Tetrimon, I doubt they will surrender their faith because you asked them. Just a thought. |

That statement alone shows that you have no idea who you fight against...

The Tetrimon, at their best, are fanatic cultists. I'm suprised that even the Amarr would allow them back into the fold. That goes to show exactly how weak the Amarr Empire has grown without it's leadership. At least when they had an Emperor I was proud to fight the Amarrian paramilitaries. They fought for something, that in their mind, was a grand thing. Now, I exterminate vermin that always underestimate the power of a determined warrior of Matar.
I may be able to quit my personal war though. If the Amarr accept the Tetrimon back in full force, they will help you all destroy the Empire yourself.

If you truly believed that it would destroy the Empire, then you would be helping the Tetrimon.
So which are you Mr. Vapor? A fool or a liar? Evidence more strongly supports the latter.

I prefer to meet my enemy in a place of honor, on an open battlefield.
I have absolutely no respect or reverence for the Empire. However, the Tetrimon disgust me in a way that no Amarrian ever has or will. Call it gut instinct. I would rather see the Matari put an end to the Empire. Not for it to crumble within from insanity.
The soldiers that fight for the Amarrian cause aren't that much different from myself. Fighting for something they totally believe in. That's the only honorable trait I've ever found and to taint it would be folly. Politics and theolgy should not topple the Empire. The Matari should.

We've been fighting Forti for a good bit of time now and it's clear they're no match for us. Even the most stalwart member has to admit that the war isn't going very well for them. My senior is just reminding them that they've got a way out, still. Too lenient if you ask me, but I suppose I should concede to his seniority and such.

I see the future in this cause, it has been noted by more than just one such as I. Those of us that watch from the shadows, those of us that do not seek the spotlight but none the less have the ability to move people may need to do just that.
We have somewhat of a connection, you and I do Vapor, and I believe you know of what I speak. I did not take you for a fool then though your heart always outdistanced your head. But I will not fault you for that pastà. What would I call it? Indiscretion?
We will see what comes of this. Indeed we will see.

Yes, Wark, we do have a past though I don't think it is as solid as you remember it. My past indiscretions......are not who I am.
We are giving Manu Forti a way out of the death. We are trying to show some mercy which we rarely do. If we die, we die. We just come back for more. That's the difference between a soldier and a casualty.
Your message was quite cryptic. I get the meaning but not the intent. Good day to you sir.

Connections are an odd thing Vapor, even a tiny thing can Bind two people together in ways they would have never thought possible. LetÆs just say our connection has given me an insight, and nothing deeper than that. And while change happens to us all, our past still marks us.
While you find my message cryptic it was meant more as a thoughtful response. I am not without influence in some circles. But again I do not command, hence I made no firm statements of intent, as it is not my place to do so.
I will say this, you have insulted and made war upon Amarr loyalists. You insult and defame the Tetrimon whom I have sworn to protect and serve. You bring terror to Amarr space. These things should not stand.
It is not my place to speak for Manu Forti however it is clear to me that offering Manu Forti ôA way out of deathö and your attempt to ôShow Mercyö are laughable statements at best. If this was your wish, then leave Amarr space and do not return. Renounce your terrorist ways and beg forgiveness of the Tetrimon.
If your wish for peace is genuine, you have it in your power to achieve it. But thatÆs not what you want is it Vapor? At least be honest with everyone, yourself included.
So there you have my less than cryptic thoughts on this situation. I know you well enough to hold a modicum of respect for you, but it will not stop me from doing what I must.

Edited by: Mr Vapor on 15/03/2006 08:41:49 Now that is an answer fit for a warrior. Not some mindless rhetoric both sides of this conflict have spouted.
You're quite correct. I do not wish for peace as long as my people are held under the oppression of the Amarrian Theological Machine. That is not my primary purpose in hating Amarrians and their culture but it gives me justification all the same. I am a warrior, not a politician. Words don't make things happen, actions do. Without the war I'm no longer a warrior. I'm nothing.
You call me a terrorist. I'm perfectly okay with that label. Unlike many of my kin, I don't espouse to political bindings. My personal war with the Amarr is about primitive, animal instinct. I do not deny that side of my personality. Most Amarrians consider this a detriment to my character. I consider it an advantage.
I've also been called a genocidel warmongering maniac. That description fits too. I would personally like nothing more than the entire Amarrian race eradicated from existence along with it's supporters. It's not a pretty thought and it's not meant to be. I would just as soon bathe in their blood.
Very few of your friends and allies would come here and speak to someone like me the way you have. They would be too busy with rabble rousing and throwing around religious edict like it meant something to me. At least you stand here as a warrior for your cause. Now that I can believe in fully. For that you have earned my respect. Not my love of your kind, but my respect. That makes you in elite company in my world as only one other, Graelyn, has managed that.
This does not mean I expect or will give mercy on the battlefield should we meet again in a clash of arms. It means that you will be treated with honor as my ancestors before me dictate it should happen.
Manu Forti has no such honor. Devotees of Tetrimon or not, they send their weak to fight their battles for them and they are slaughtered at our hands. They leave their weak unprotected and easy prey. They should at least have the tactical sense to retreat and build strength. More and more of them die and we have yet to see their so called leaders come forward to do battle with us. It is dishonorable to the cause for which they say they hold dear, even if I do not agree with it.
Needless to say, until they give up this insane support, we will grind them into dust. We will not falter. We will not relent.

I imagine Manu Forti, and indeed the other Amarrian loyalist paramilitaries would say the same about their commitment to their own crusades.

a war isn't over until it is over.
After all you are the one who has come to the summit and asked for terms first.
you make it sound like you are the winner, but your message is clear, you are trying to stop the conflict. That makes you look weak.
fight, die, give no quarter, and in the end those who keep going are the victors.

SRS has never asked for terms.
What is true is that I have SENT terms to Manu Forti leadership for their surrender unless they wish to continue this slaughter.
With them taking a military stance with the Tetrimon Order is what made us declare war on them - a new threat rising at the horizon. The ONLY thing required was/is for Manu Forti to openly declare they go back to being a "peaceful" religious order.
As Vapor stated, we believe that the Tetrimon order will bring more instability to the empire, but with a military stance we decided the need to fight them. But if peaceful, we will wish them the best of luck infiltrating the empire to its full extent and end the war.
How the post comes across or how someone interpretate the original message is of no concern to us - we know what we inflict and what we lose.

fair enough Camar, just found it odd your force wanted peace, not very much in character for Stormriders.
But peace is for the birds, war is the forge that turns iron into steel.
your conflict trains the Pilots who need it, and keep those who don't sharp. you are providing a service to the Amarr, a service to the pod community at large as well. you are making a new generation of warriors and no matter what that is always good. too many weak kneed Pod Pilots in the cluster as it is.
