Have alot of isk laying around and dont know what to do with it?
Want a Carrier pilot but cant be bothered to train all those skills?
Want a character with good standings and good research agents, but cant be bothered with all those lvl 1 and 2 missions?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the character for you.

You have the Carrier skill itself, yeah, but... it looks like you're missing several of the skills required to effectively fly one. Fighters, Advanced Drone Interfacing, Jump Drive Calibration, Jump Fuel Conservation, Capital Repair Systems.
Yes, the carrier skill itself is big, but the other things mentioned add up to at least a month or two of training, so it's not like you'd be able to fly an Amarr Carrier effectively right out of the box, so to speak.
It also looks like you're missing quite a few level 5 skills that I would need if I were to be flying a carrier, such as the new drone support skills (Drone Durability, etc...), Electronics Upgrades 5, Long Range Targetting 5, Signature Analysis 5, Energy Emission Systems at least level 4, Repair Systems 5, and Remote Armor Repair Systems 5. Advanced Weapons Upgrades 5 would be nice too, but not required for a carrier. Learning skills would have to be upgraded too, what you have is okay, but... it could be much better. That's a considerable amount of training there.
So, given these things, and the fact that my only interest lies in your characters' carrier skills, I'll bid 2 bil. Yes, I know it's half your starting bid, but I don't expect to win this.

I thought they said they were going to seed it one or two patches ago. Alright, fair enough, but there are still a lot of other skills there that I would need to train up.
Nothing wrong with the character itself - but the only thing I'm interested in are the Carrier skills.

nearly all the skills you mentioned for carriers i have the pre reqs for just havent bought the skills as Im selling the character...oh sorry repair systems 5 has about an hour and a half left on it. If i set a reserve of 5 bil...how the hell do you think i would sell for 2. Good math skills.

your start bid is closer to what the buyout should be. general rule of thumb is 100mil per 1mil sp. even with the expensive carrier skill counted in the value, and other bonuses...your a bit high mate

apparently you guys cant read.
a speced 20m character goes for around 3bil.
add in a billion worth of skills and we are at the starting bid of 4bil.
now look at the research points...lets estimate them at a value of 1bil...which is a bit low if you go by past sales of research characters.
so now we are at my reserve of 5bil.
I am posting with a noob character, but the character for sale is not a noob nor is my main. If you arent willing to pay 5bil for this character please dont post as im not strapped for cash so i will keep him for anything less than that.
it is quite simple!

I will bid 2.5 bil, I agree your starting bid should be your buyout if this is what you think it is really worth. Reject the bid if you want but it is a bid.

thought that was common sense from the original post, but if you guys want to bid your pidly amounts in some kind of childish attempt to mess up my auction, thats on you.

No one is trying to mess up your auction, And that response was the childish one. I for one am shopping for a carrier flyer, and I know what one is worth. I am bidding what I feel its worth truely is. As I said it is your option to reject the bids. I for one was serious about my bid.
BTW I retract my bid. This auction is not for me.

i think the char is worth this..
who came up with that 100m SP crap.. good char.. 800m just for the 2skills.. and will maybe get a T2 bpo any day soon (prob not but anyway).. so let the guy have his damn auciton and stop ******* around the the starting bid...  yo ma its a bit high..

not for that character without a significant amount of isk as well.
that character is not specialized with about the same amount of sp.
it doesnt have the carrier and advanced spaceship command skills.
and it doesnt have 250k rp.
so make an offer with that character plus isk and i will think about it.
otherwise no chance.
