i want it so i can controll about 15-25 drones at once it woude make gellentre ships dones bonis better 2,becase they dont get much else
and i heard that they used to let you have 15 out at once and now only 5 so i am anoyed

Maybe there was a reason why they changed it from 10 (15 with ship bonus) to 5... ever thought of that? 
Also, it wouldn't make Gallente drone boats any better than they were because they increased the power to make 5 drones now equivalent to 15 as it was then. If a Domi/Ishtar could use 15 drones as they are now, they'd have to add 5 or turrets or launchers to each other BS etc.

hmm yea,but it just dosent seem as cool,becase come on you are flying around and you get attaced by a few frigs then a 5 drones come out and then they dont get confused,,,,perhaps there coude be drones that take up half a drone flighting so you can have 2 it coude work out equill
and having a few more drones heps the pilots more becase it stops coordated fire as much

Yeah, I admit it was nice to sit there in a Dominix or Ishtar and bust 15 heavies out, but they aren't going to reverse a change made not 3 months ago that seems to have worked quite well, wether it was more 'cool' the old way or not.

this is a VERY old arguement. I'm not (and I doubt anyone else will) gonna do your research for you and hand you the link(s) to the about 20 threads whining about the new drone setup.
Try looking into the patch notes for about 3-4 builds ago (from x2900) then browse thru the three 'whine' forums: General, Ideas/Suggestions and this one - start at least 5-10 pages into the forums, as I said it is a very old complaint. If you wanna know BAD enough, you will look around. If you dont, then deal with the fact that CCP did it because they felt it necessary to reduce stress on the servers. NOTHING will change that back, it's been tried.

matt: 15 drones orbiting your ship did indeed look awesome  buuuut, ccp said at one point drones made up for 50% of the server load  so they kinda had to go 
now we have more powerfull drones and more variation. all the ecm drones are new. we have a new rack of drone skills to make them even more fearsome. drones are a lot better now, they just dont look as cool.
what would be nice through is increasing the modle size of the drones so u can see em buzzing arround

Agree, drones are very powerful these days, just 5 can tank a BS spawn. I have been out of the game for a long while and did not notice the change until I checked drone interfacing and notice the 20% damage bonus per level, on one side I was sad the +1 drone per level was gone however the 20% damage is brilliant, so glad I trained that up to 5 before I left!

You tried using 'look at' on a drone? Its interesting listening to the freaky sounds they make!
