I know its not till later but we all live in different time zones so when it falls in your spot "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and lets hope its better than this year.
We can't wish for world peace because someone's fighting somewhere, but for individuals I hope you guys and girls live safe.

Christians of olde actually stuck Christmas on top of the pagan festival celebrating the winter solistice in order to get rid of the olde faith.
JC was actually born 4bc in the September as Jupiter, Venus and Saturn were in conjuction creating the star of Bethlehem. I hope that clears up some confusion.

Well for all ye Jesus haters out there, the most academically correct system is the HE (Holocene or Human Era system) which has it's year 0 in 10001 BC ( the beginning of the Holocene Epoch as well as archeological evidence of human civilization (keyword: civilization; the Homo genus is roughly 200 000 years older than that) so this would actually make for the new year 12014 ! Yay!
So either that or you add those 200k years also and come up with 212014 - since the beginning of all that is Man!

Its going to be knocked back again soon, just got to see some artifacts estimated at 12k prior to now via radiocarbon dating.
And given they were ceramics and metals alongside religious sites (yay sacrifice skeletons that arent burnt!) it will be even longer ago.

For New Year's Day morning: Get your fruit juice ready and on hand today, before you start imbibing. Coca-Cola works sometimes too. Also some hangover-easing consumables: Miso soup, menudo, or chicken soup. Actually any kind of soup.
