I thought I'd buy it, be a nice incentive to get me back into the game as I haven't really played properly since 2006ish and I just lent my account to my friend to play over the years. Cost 100 something euros with postage and all that and I thought "great comes with a 60 day time code"......... oh wait what? I get it, open it and you can only apply it to new accounts.......
I can understand this for retail keys of the normal boxed game, however for the price of the CE it makes no sense. It isn't like you'll be able to buy 1000 copies of the CE in you local bargain bin and use them to pay the subscription.
So cheap to pull this off, so it's another -ú10 for a subscription... really? You're gonna be this cheap? What am I meant to do with this ******* code then? I don't want a new account, I want to use it on the account I made from the start. The only reason you ever go back to an MMO is for your old account...
Pissed me off, just not gonna bother using the damn thing and will sell it on ebay, cannot believe I paid you more money to complain because that's another con you have going on of having to pay to use the forums. |

part of me thinks that if ccp are getting their monthly subscription, they really don't care all that much. |

Dont use the code if you dont want it.. Make another acount with it, or use it to get a friend into the game? Or just sell it on the forums like most everyone else did..
