Who is GoonWaffe?
GoonWaffe is one of EVEs biggest corporations, and the leading corporation of the Goonswarm federation, the most prestigious and influential alliance in the entirety of EVE. We own vast swathes of 0.0 space and have an unparalleled combat and financial record. Normally our recruitment is closed to everyone but people from the somethingawful.com forums and a select few individuals, but we decided that until December 31st 2013 our doors are open to a larger selection of people.
I'm not really a fan of PvP, is there a place for me?
Absolutely! Any good miner or manufacturer knows that it is his (or her) work that enables all the ships we field to be built in the first place, and it is the taxes we earn from PvEers that gives our corporation the enormous warchest that it uses to project its power anywhere in the galaxy. We aim to provide a place suitable for all these kinds of people to thrive and become wealthy, and have done so successfully by providing systems free from hostiles and a logistics and market infrastructure to suit your every need for many years now. On top of that there are NO MANDATORY OPS. All participation in corp and alliance events is completely optional.
I am a huge fan of PvP, what is there for me?
There are fleets up nearly 23/7 for every size and type of PvP one can think of, anywhere from 10 to 2000 pilots flying anything from frigates to capital ships. You name it we got it. You will never be required to participate in any fleet you don't want to participate in, and we have a full reimbursement program for every ship you lose in a fleet, so there is no need to be afraid of losing your ISK fighting with us. We also have programs to get pilots into capital ships cheaply and easily if they so desire.

Scam. Goonwaffe does not directly recruit, only through their forum community or personal vouches of people in the community, but not like that guy is trying to do. Either will ask for a fee, will request to move your things before you join or ask u to fly/jump to goon hq to apply, etc. GL to you, brownie points for being careful and asking, many get scammed. |

I wish I'd read this before tonight. I got scammed out of all my stuff and yes, a 37m skill point player should know better, but I was in the recruitment channel looking for a corp and someone from Goonswarm signed me up.
His name is 'Have A Present' and you should avoid him at all costs. He is not genuine and takes your money (the deposit) and when they fly your stuff to their base, they keep it and don't let you in.
Under no circumstances should anyone respond to a Goon recruitment offer.
Anyhow, this has ended my love afair with Eve, so I'm out. I would give you my stuff, but I don't have any. I just can't be bothered to do things any more.
Just cancelled my subscription and that's me done. Not throwing my toys out the pram, I just can't be arsed to build up my wealth again.

I am utterly amazed that this is still happening after all this time. Seriously folks, any discussion of scams brings up the GSF recruitment scam.
First: Treat joining a null-sec corp/alliance/bloc as if you were applying to a company. Do your research, find out exactly what is required according to THEIR OWN website, hell GSF's Auth application process specifically states the eligibility requirements. It's not rocket science. Would YOU trust some company with all your real life stuff with no guarantees?
Second: Don't move all your junk and crap to null-sec. Go in a fast ship after you've liquidated all the assets you don't want to store in HiSec. EVERY GODDAMN nullsec bloc has some sort of carraige service. You move out there and fit in, get some local ships, then decide what you want to import, if anything. Successful groups develop logistics departments responsible for importing doctrine ships. Use these services, use doctrine ships (not your own poorly fit junkheap), and be eligible for ship replacement funds - it's that simple.
Third: If an offer seems to be too good to be true, it isn't. This is true in real life, just as much as it is true in EVE.

It is scam and the best of this scam is GoonWaffe work with Mishirosen
For me a fighter or a warrior have honer well the People from GoonWaffe are Honorles for me when they work with Ceaters for get some millions are there so poor that thay Need that? |
