I have set up a second account and I want it to run on my secondary monitor, how do I do this.
In prefs.ini on the second account, I have changed desktopPrimary=0 to desktopPrimary=1
Which I thought would make the client not use my primary monitor, but alas it still uses my primary?
Do I have to change something else?

run the game in window mode. You will then be able to drag the window to either screen. This comes in use alot if you find one char is doing alot more then the other for some reason.
Will have to also maybe lower you settings for the game to make it run smoother across both screens depending on your setup.
Also running two accounts on the same machine will sometimes lag when switching from one active window to the next.

Is there no way to keep up BOTH full windows up at the same time and have the mouse freely be able to move from one screen to the other and interact on the fly?
Would that require two physical video cards?

no way to do that.. not even with 2 seperate card..
it's windows... if a full screen application lose focus it minimize..
Run window mode, set the res. to the same as your desktop, and move the window a bit up.. it will look like a full screen, but you can freely move betwean the windows...
I you 2 monitor 2 acc... - POST WITH YOUR MAIN!
This post is my personal opinion. It does not represent the standpoint of the HUN Corporation in any way. - |

ive got 3 physical video cards, its not an issue of the cards, when a full screen program loses focus (try alt-tabbing) its minimized, thats part of windows, you cant get around it. i run mine in window mode and drag the windows upwards so that you cant even see the blue bar along the top, you just see a white line a few pixels wide.
if you have any other questions feel free to convo me

I have had it working great in dual display mode (albeit with some FPS issues). The key is to have both clients set to windowed mode at the same resoloution as your monitor resoloution, then using ShiftWindow to position each window in the correct place so that it looks like it is in full screen mode, then you can move freely from one monitor to the next.
