Here's a Curse setup I got out of Modules and Munitions (Credits to MacQueen)
Tell me what you think:
HI: 4x Medium Diminishing Nosferatu 1x Small Energy Neutralizer II
MED: 1x 10mn Afterburner (Named or Tech 1) 1x Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor 1x 20km WS 3x Baker-Nunn or Tech II Tracking Disruptor
LOW: 1x Medium 'Accomodation' Vestment Reconstructor 1x 800mm Crystalline Carbonide Plate 1x N-Type Thermic Hardener* 1x N-Type Kinetic Hardener*
*: These can be traded out for Adaptive Nanos.
QuickFit's cap simulator tells me you can run all this indefinitely if your target has capactior for you to drain. (Assumed Recon Ships level IV)
Any input appreciated. ~ We move in circles Balanced all the while On a gleaming razor's edge

If you're going to suck cap, put it to good use.. 2xRepaires instead of rep+plate
IMO at least ------------------------ I don't believe in sigs. |

Edited by: BOBHOPE on 16/03/2006 09:34:05 looks good, altho i dont think id use the plating and maybe throw in another hardener of some description or another repairer.
all depends on who im facing tbh.

I would drop the plate AND the webber.
I don't think the webber is needed when you can suck them dry almost instantly. I have two scramblers instead.
And drop the plate for either a sensor backup array or even speed module (to stay in range of the scramblers but outside of their NOS')

5 E50 nos 1 t2 afterburner, 1 web, 1 scrambler, 3 MULTYSPEC - they r more useful, then disruptors 1 t2 med rep, 3 T2 energised adaptive nanos - they give better resistances then 4 active hardeners.

U will not be able to fit neutralisers on this ship...they will gimp the other modules... To fit neutralisers u will need to fit: 1) RCU 2) Named or faction mods (afterburner or armor rep) to save powergrid.
Even with Noses with recon lvl4 I can Nos 315 cap units every 6 seconds, that means that any cruiser or cap depending hac will die in around 18-20 seconds

Why 3 tracking disruptors?
Sure, you get a great bonus for them but will you really be up against that many ships at once?
I'd go for 2 and a multispec.

I've tested two of the same disruptors on an Arbitrator, which gets the same exact bonus. My corpmate (I forget what exactly he was flying) was still able to get in fairly good hits.

I like the idea. Only problem is my sucky Electronic Warfare skills. Atleast now I have an incentive. ~ We move in circles Balanced all the while On a gleaming razor's edge

After some modifications, I've (or we've) come up with this:
HI 4x Medium Dimnishing Nosferatu 1x Small Energy Neutralizer II
MED 1x 10mn Afterburner 2x Baker-Nunn Tracking Disruptor 2x Warp Disruptor (20km) 1x 'Hypnos' Multispectral ECM
LOW 2x Medium 'Accomodation' Vestment Reconstructor 1x N-Type Armor Thermic Hardener 1x N-Type Armor Kinetic Hardener ~ We move in circles Balanced all the while On a gleaming razor's edge

Edited by: Myal Terego on 18/03/2006 11:27:54 this setup seems to work nicely enough
highs 3x med nos best you can get, 1x med nuet and 1x assault launcher(defenders and missles)
1 10mn AB II, 1 7500 scrambler,1 90% web, 1 sensor damp II, 2 hypnos multispecs
lows 1 med tech 2 repper, and 2x adaptive nano II, and 1x active ( i forget i think it was expl hard active, whichever is your lowest resist after adaptives.)
suck em dry almost instantly including BS with the med nuet, then jam them, if you miss a jam cycle, the sensor damp on a bs with no sensor booster, will give you enough time before they can relock you to try again. if you fail a third time, well either warp out cause they have no cap, or tank best you can, and keep trying. Once your cap starts to drain you know that they are empty, and you can turn off the nuet. cycle the jammers, as needed to save cap. use 5 tech II lights and med drones, and if the enemy deploys drones, be quick to sick your drones on his. Stay away from ravens and domis, and pretty much almost any bs is dangerous for even a skilled pilot to solo with curse. Its definately doable if the stars are aligned and you jam often, but its dangerous nonetheless. anything smaller than a Bs tho is completely screwed 1 vs 1 save for maybe a ishtar, or cerebus.
