Twice I've downloaded the EVE_3900 client at 551mb, when I launch it, it starts varifying the installer, then I get an NSIS Error, which says the file is either incomplete or corrupt, and that I could skip this check by using the /NCRC command line switch...
I have my old eve CD I could install and patch, but I was hoping to just use this updated installer. Anyone have any problems with this client ?

im getting the same problem with the new patch .. ive redownloaded the whole client twice now ...
and im not getting any replies from eve either on this .. !

I think that patch was 74meg, what version are you running now ?.
Stupid new patch download options, i might be abel to mirror one just need ya current version ?.

The 3900 exe file is really bugged, but if you try (a lot) you can install the game, I download the 551 mb file 3 times and tried to install 8 times before being sucessfull, EVE is a great game but sooooooooooooooooooooo buged.

I downloaded that yesterday, no download manger or anything & no probs. Cos its so big buggy connetion will corrupt it easy & dont use download mangers.

I agree but EVEn though, the third time I download I did without managers and I tried to install 3 times before being sucessfull, I have never seen something like that in my whole life. Many times I download huge file with managers and never had this "corrupted" file problem.
Anyway, now I am playing and that is what matters.

It just tells me unable to connect to [IP] Port [Portnumber] what can i do... isnt the server shutdown over yet`?

well i d/l from first time and install works fine, atleast it gives message that EVE is installed but when i launch it it starts loading shows screen where is few ships in red font but then it goes all screen in black and comp stucks... any idea why it happening?
i had reinstalled but repeats again same problem

i am having the same problem. i recently had to uninstall EVE and now i cant seem to install it. i am having the problem as the creator of this topic and i have redownloaded the file 10 times and tried it but with no succes. so anybody knows a way to fix this? also how do you do that /NCRC thing?
