All other ships get some kind of bonus to something, except the iterons?
Whats up with that?

I haul with a hoarder so I may be wrong here, but I thought the bonus for Iterons was a 5% cargo bonus per skill level?

Nope, that is one of the bestower. Iterions have *no* bonus.
Or, wait, perhaps a CPU bonus if I can remember correctly? How ... err ... usefull. Since Indys have such a maior CPU problem----

Sorry sc0rp. Only Iteron that gets a bonus is the Iteron. Its bonus is I think 5% or 10% reduction in cap need when warping. Anything from Iteron II and up has no bonus.

Hehe, Np sc0rp. (Btw, when do I get a sig like yours?)
I think the reason they don't have some kind of bonus is becasue there are a few versions of the Iteron.
Tho if they did some how get a bonus later on I wouldn't have the faintest clue as to what that would be. A once retired pilot, now, once again helping those that fight the good fight. |

Thanks everyone.
Maybe I am a little greedy, but darn it, I trained for a month to drive an Iteron V, and I want my bonus! To something.....?

I think if they were to give them a bonus I think they would just give the others the same bonus the Iteron has. A once retired pilot, now, once again helping those that fight the good fight. |

the iteron needs something useful, take away the bestowers 5% bonus and give it to the iteron...now that would make the iteron five a SWEEEEEEEET ride :P

Well I don't think that they should take that bonus away from the bestower, considering the Amarr only have a single indy. But IMO I think the 5% reduction per level in capacitor need when warping, would be fine for a special ability atm. A once retired pilot, now, once again helping those that fight the good fight. |

Not really. You very rarely run out of cpa while warping.
The only Amarr indy is better than all lvl3 indys of other races - if it would loose the cargo cap bonus (and get something else, armor+ for example) it would actually be balanced compared to other races indys.

blahblahblahblah
live with it!
all the whinage it's really getting to a point where it's annoying. Training Amarr frigate to lvl3 and then training amarr indy neither. So if you really think the Bestower is that much better, get one. Period. End of story.
btw read the other threads about Iteron V, it is the best indy, i am not the only one who managed to understand that ....... -- The worst thing you can do when suggesting a solution to a problem is to provide alternatives, people end up arguing the alternatives instead of implementing the fix. |

blablabla indeed.
Why balancing things then? Hey, just everyone get the best thing, end of story.
And end of game, too, because it will get utterly boring then and everyone will quit.

Hey guys, come on, be nice. This thread is about my Iteron V and its lack of bonus. While you both have valid points about the other indys thats for another thread, and they both get some kind of bonus to something :) I agree that the bonus to cap usage is sort of useless. Thanks for everyones comments.

Ok, someone give Iteron a bonus. Say agility bonus or something useful.
On the side note, ppl stop whining. I fly dominix most of the time, I do missions in Vigil cos its speedy, I haul in bestower and I'm training caldari ships for PvP. Use each race as it suits you, dont complain about it, jesus! --

Just one question for you Iteron V pilots out there. What Indy did you fly for the months that you were training to Industrial 5. The Bestower can be piloted at Amarr Industrial 1. This means while you gallente industrial pilots are languishing in your Iteron 1-4 (crap), thos of us that chose bestower have been flying one. What is really funny is if you have lv 5 in both indy skills and the identical module load out, the bestower nearly matches the Iteron 5 for cargo space.

One more thing. I can fly a bestower, but i prefer the mammoth over either one. I prefer agility over a little cargo space any day. If they ever listen to mammoth pilots and add a low slot, I will never ever fly anything else for hauling. Only reason i ever fly a bestower now is a corporate one for moving huge amounts of cargo. That extra low slot can cut off lots of trips when your moving milions of units of minerals or ore.
