Is their a way to set the windows mode to expand to fit the screen instead of just running in a full size window ?
The problem is when you run the game in a window at say 1600x1200 it opens a game window of that size with a window frame around it so it doesn't fit on the screen and you loose part of the bottom.
Before someone says just run in fullscreen instead... The reason I want to run in windowed mode is I'm using two screens and use the second one to browse the web etc whilst flying between planets.

i normally run the game in 1280*960 and my desktop res at 1280*1024.
This way i can see my task bar and thats it and msn/winamp/whatever else in the task bar and switch to it quickly -------------------------------- Once upon a time in Lonetrek |

Click the icon in the topleft of the window to bring up a menu. Click move and use the cursor keys to position the window up a bit. :)

Done that but it's still untidy and you can't see the task bar at the bottom of the screen.

Right click an empty space on the task bar. Click "Properties". Set the "Always on top" option, if it's in there anywhere, on.
I understand what you're saying, though. Even with that, you either cut the bottom bit off or you move it up and cut the top bit off. Not very helpful. You can set your taskbar to "Autohide" so it will only appear when you move the mouse right to teh bottom of the screen but this will still interfere with your eve at times when you move the mmouse to the bottom of the screen to click on something so I imagine it'll get annoying. I always run my client in a smaller res windowed than my desktop res to avoid this very problem.
