I am starting to get sick of people whining about ore thieves. I've had my ore stolen. I know lots of other players that have had their ore stolen. Ore theives get me angery but going and crying about it doesn't help. Eve is a nitty gritty world and you have to play tough and adapt if you want to last. If you dont like it go play earth and beyond.

Sadly your post will get ignored/flamed/locked mate. I actually saw Drunkenmaster lose his cool (very first time) with this crap. Simple rule - you jettison it then it no longer belongs to you.
Yes we have all been there. Some of us got over it. Some of us moved to BS miners and didn't. Some of us stripmine newbie systems with BS and some of us don't.
The entire subject is quite frankly dumb. The only people that this adversely affects are newbies. Why does it affect them? Well it's hugely more profitable for ore thieves to go to newbie areas now simply because they will find big cans of ore. Mined by newbies? Umm no. As a result the newbies cans may get grabbed too.
Oh I give up. Why bother? Someone else will be along in a bit to say why it is all so unfair

Yes it is a bit funny that I am complaining about complaining. I was just getting annoyed by the main topic in this forum being ore thieves.

I don't normally do this topic as it is so boring, but today I'll make an exception.
Cure for ore thieves? Secure cans. I have a permanent set of seven secure cans deposited somewhere in a 0.56 system for Omber and Kernite mining. I fill them up with a cruiser, then go and get the indy to unload; fill up with cruiser, get indy to unload. Rinse. Repeat until you are bored with mining.
I have seen a known ore thief in my belt as I was doing this. He hung around for a bit, obviously hoping that I would drop something, and then p***ed off then the pirates re-spawned and picked on him. (I wasn't going to help with my missiles, obviously!)
A solution has been given to everyone against ore thievery by CCP - Secure cans. It requires capital investment, but it is worth paying for these cans instead of losing ore.
You have the solution. Use it.
By the way, don't moan that the cans aren't big enough. Make three or four round trips to deposit them and then leave them there if you need a permanent site. It takes ever so slightly longer to set up, but so what? Better than losing ore.

No offense intended but the only thing as annoying as threads moaning about ore thieves is threads moaning about threads moaning about ore thieves.
