I have now tried 9 times to do an in game petition. I love the game but I will cancel my accounts if you do not fix the problem. If you are to busy say so, dont leave a non functioning petition system on line. And yes I am doing things right, I am filling in all the blanks and boxes, I am getting real sick of the damn error mesages that make no reference to what the error might be. And no I am not going to spend an hour reading the forums to figure out what you are doing wrong.

I guess sending a polite e-mail to support is just too straining, so you may as well come to the forums and do something productive like rant.

Have you tried clicking the Ask a Question button on your left to petition through the website?

I made petitions ingame got error went to asked questions and those petitions created ingame was actually there. Dont know if its only for me this happens or not, also if you can go on the forums and rant I think you can make a petition using ask question, also make sure you dont have 9* petitions allready asked and answered. On a side note they really should increase the staff for the support, prolly will sooner or later with this big increase of player base.
PS: I hope you atleast read your own thread! lol
Im a noob, bear with me :P |

How come people threatening to leave always have more than one account?
Oh btw, about your stuff: can I have it?

A fair number of people have more than one account, I'd even go as far as to say most people have.
Including me
-- Even at 27K my sig was blurred and naff. This is too restricting Cortes. |

I actually had the same problem with the in game petition option giving some variable out of bounds or some such error. Turns out that they are aware of the problem but the fix is a major overhaul or something. They would prefer you to go to the website and send a message to CS. There is no time frame that I am aware of to fix this.
If you are going to quit, please don't forget to send your cash to John Torakiba and setup your equipment on escrow to John Torakiba. |

2 months?
Did you just happen to recieve an automated reply that said that they were flushing the petition queue and restarting, and you should resubmit it (or just update it)?
Or did you ignore that message?

I fail to see why you think a polite email to support would solve the problem.
Do you think they are unaware that the petition system is not working properly? The only real question is why it hasn't been fixed yet.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if a polite email to support was met with a reply to file the issue through a petition.
I'm not here to win any popularity contests. I couldn't care less what you think of me - all that matters is this: Can you defend your opinions? |

Well my post generated a stock "Sorry We are so, busy" responce. To the person who suggested a polite e-mail message to support. In general thats good advice, but in this case it didn't work any better than in game attempts to get a responce. I am not impatient or un-reasonable, the problem is that when ever you follow all the directions and submit a valid petition you get an error message in the online browser. Because of this you have no idea if you petition was even received. I don't mind waiting if I am asked to, but just getting an error message is un-acceptable.

They say that they're overwhelmed. They probably are, given the dual effects of errors on the patches and the surge in new subscribers. About all you can do, it seems to me, is to hang on and hope your question isn't lost in the system. Banging on them to respond just clogs up the system more.
This sig for rent. Convo me in game. |
