NPC nullsec dweller here.
If it goes directly to high sec then, as mentioned elsewhere, shopping spree for the whole alliance. Or I might just sit outside it in an ishtar with sentries out and blap anything that comes out of it. If it leads to another region of nullsec we might go roaming, depending where it goes. If it's a smallish wormhole (C1, C2 or even C3) and we're bored, we might go in and run sites. If there's people living in it and we're bored because of a lack of pew in our space, we might go hunting in it. And of course if an organized corp starts coming out of it and roaming us, we either fight them or dock up if there's too many of them and they start blobbing. |

Check one of the online wormhole databases, see where it leads. If it's to low, null, or high, usually jump through and see where I end up. I don't bother with wormhole space, doesn't really interest me. |

sometimes look for paths to remote space.
check easy route to hi sec to sell loot.
organise gank if something nice is inside to kill.
sometimes just ignore.

I ponder how an environment best described as involving the grandfathering of itself for quarks is capable of handling macroscale structures much less being home to biological being in a definite time period for a space with altered physics.

Mainly use them as a shortcut while looking for data and relic sites. Check it out see if it leads to low, null, c1 c2 etc. More than likely though will jump through, d-scan to see if the locals or any activity is nearby while checking info about it. If locals are active usually just back out and try to find another route or bounce around to get a decent safe to probe again and move along. If it appears empty have a look around and maybe go back and reship to run some sites depending on it's type and effects. |

Typically, when i'm scanning, I'm in a ship that can survive a WH for at least long enough to decide if I want to come back in a more capable ship or not.
Of course, I also live in a WH most of the time, too.

When I jump into a WH I always pray that I'll find a secret group of players that are thousands in number living in a network of WH's and planning the demise of the CFC with unlimited resources so I can join them.
Then I wake up and realize that GOONSWARM online will not end anytime soon and I go back to reality disappointed. =( |

The geographical location of my favourite system happens to be usefull for WH dwellers. I lived in one for a couple of months so I know how wspace guys think. If the connection happens to be your lowsec static you might wish to use it. I migt have interest in whatever you are transporting over it. Aside from that I'll PVE and PVP in them. I might scout it or jump in a combat ship and bait the locals into a fight. I'm already used to the idea of these random connections opening up and always consider them tactically. An interesting variable is their (warp) distance, and the possibility of hiding your numbers. |

Ironically when I moved into a wormhole (different character of course). We were trying to ge the hell out of high sec because there were a bunch of wartargets in system and we were moving an orca. Wormhole space felt a lot safer after the gate and station camping.

You first poke to see if its awake. Then you do the holy prober dance in respect to the great all mighty wormhole to gain access to said hole. If the wormhole rejects you its best to leave it alone. But if it does allow you in the rewards will be great t3s all over the place free poses bubbles and cloaky ships on the exit.

Research pilot. Check corp/alliance data
Locate all POSes with scan
Warp to various sites, making notes on inhabitants, ships, etc.
Determine next steps based on intel.
Maybe raid the pocket (C1, C2)
Maybe take down a dead POS and claim it.
Maybe find a solo day-tripper or WH hermit and gank with other account.
Maybe use it as a relay to other K162 out.
Maybe just leave.

In null, I stick my head in down the chain for 3 or 4 jumps to see if there is anything to shoot at. In low sec i completely ignore it and hope to hell a wh alliance/corp comes out to pew low sec 'scrubs'. |
