Well me and the corp mates had been hunting war decs all day and had been pretty successful. It was getting late, but we stumbled across a HAC, a Covert Ops, and a Thorax and the game was on. The Moa got locked down while his buddies were too far away to help and was easily disposed of, but only after he wasted our Merlin.
While the rest of the group concentrated on the Covert Ops ship I boosted out towards the Thorax. He tried blasting me as I closed but rails have a hard time hitting ships moving close to 1 k/s. So, I have him locked down and I start my orbit and he pops drones at me. Well. . .I easily dispatch of those nuisances and I start to turn my guns on him. However, I notice that my guns are still blinking red and not switching over to him. I'm perplexed because my ship is still going round and round so it can't be lag. . .then I hear my Ventrilo tell me I've been booted off the server. So, I got hung up while in my circle of death and the Thorax got away. He later told me he had PLENTY of nice shiny new T2 stuff that I missed out on.
The fickle winds of fate, eh?

And a moa is a t1 cruiser ^_^, but bad luck all the same

You know drones now attack gang members after they kill the last "hostile" target right?
Drone AI "fixes", gate guns, and the Ishkur... FTL! :(
Missing a kill is not the worst of it, lol.

Oh and my petition was answered with a short response, the GM said "this is what happened to you" and linked me the to FAQ regarding criminal activity...
lol :)... what else can you do but laugh

Yeah. . .it LOOKED like a Moa but they told me it was a HAC. Shrug. Some other guy from our alliance jumped in and took all the loot w/o sharing. Nice guy, huh? The 36 mill cloaking device off the other guy was a nice split tho. |

Probably an Eagle then, and a horrid pilot by the looks of it. He should have been 80-100km off the gate sniping you on approach, seems he was much closer than that.

He warped into the Caldari Assembly Plant at Jita 4/M4 and we jumped him there. I don't think 2 frigs scared him much and then our backup showed up. By then he was locked down. The Covert Ops was sniping us from a ways off so we had a Blackbird jam him up and then it was routine. |
