Just wondering when our harassment petitions are going to start being taken seriously.
I've petitioned one particular person numerous times for his conduct in the game. He floods local with the most horrible things I've ever seen, uses racial slurs and foul language to name his ships, goes on and on about all the exploits he knows and apparently uses. You can't block him because if you do, you get podded since he's supposedly the only one you can "ask permission to pay a toll" in the systems he pollutes. The other night I walked into the living room and saw that he was telling my 12 year old daughter how he was going to******her and perform sexual acts on her skull after he killed her. That was the last time I petitioned him and the last time I allowed my daughter to play. I've barely even logged in since I'm always finding myself subjected to his harassment. I won't mention his name, since that usually causes a thread to be instantly locked.
I've asked in the Help channel what can be done, and I'm always told to send in a harassment petition, or an exploit one if he's been bragging about them. I've ALWAYS sent one in, yet I continue to find this creep ALWAYS online and ALWAYS harassing people.
Is there a point to even sending these things in? Even if you outright ask him in local if he's scared of getting banned, he laughs and talks about how he and Wrangler are old school roomates or something and that CCP can't afford to ban people.
So, is there a point?

Wrangler is Polaris not the almighty, so I really don't see why that should matter. Eemail myself and anyone else who inquires here the identity of said loser, and maybe we ca, put together a team to make his life hell.
When that person starts Harassing all of us too, we can all petition.

I sympathise if this is true. Seems to be a bit of a witch hunt with certain players here tho...I assume you kept the logs (You can find them on your C:\ drive if not)
I certainly wouldnt let my 11/12 year old Play a MMOG unsupervised especially when the character name is sexxi, these games are generally much more adult in nature due to the fact you require a credit card.

I don't think that is right? Why would you want to stoop to his level. His lvl of speaking has no place in this game.
I have seen him curse the Devs when asked nicly by someone to plz keep it clean and that he is breaking the rules and mocky saying "he makes rules" then cursing some more.
Then he thinks he can come on the boards and ask the devs to Ban someone who said something he didn't like to him. That just shows what kind of person he is.

I have complete faith the GM's will prove to this community that harassment is taken seriously. After all, no GM would compromise his integrity (or even job) by being lenient towards certain players.

That's why "Harass" was in quotes, I was referring to a harassment with Heavy Mod beams, (or weapon of choice)....sorry I wasn't completely obvious..

Yeah.. the ignore seems to work pretty well.. And you might want to pack up and move to another system.. Moving is pretty fun.
If you want to get something done though.. Make sure when you petition under harassment, that you have some chat logs to clarify.

Hmm.. I don't think I have any old school mates that plays eve. Maybe one, though I hope it isn't him since I'd have to go over to him and pay him a visit.
Though, even if the guy happens to know me, that won't get the guy any special treatment. I'm not involved in the harassment petitions at all, that's the GMs part. And if i were, I wouldn't try to cover it up.
I'll ask the GMs to look into this.

This gy tekforce even make threats to people(even though he wouldn't be able to carry them out) like talling people in local that he will go over and kill them in real life or******there mom stuff like that. I believe Starvos is also one of the individuals that does this ingame.

Define threat.
An indication of impending danger or harm; One that is regarded as a possible danger; a menace.
If he can't carry threw with his intended acts, it is not a threat, it's harrassment, either way, I was/am LMFAO the whole time while reading/replying to this thread - especially the quoted post. Grow up, have an issue? Here's a tissue.

The rating on this game is teen for violence. If you want to raise it so you can cuss and sware ingame then ask them too. Otherwise This kinda of harrasment should not be ingame.

I find that extremely hard to believe. I've seen what you say in local. I 've seen what you've said to her in local. You've said the same sort of things to me when I'm trying to get out of the system you're in. We can't just pay a toll, we have to put up with your language and harassment until we're finally out of the same local as you. If someone blocks you for your language, you pod them because they can't talk to you about paying a toll.
If a bunch of people team up and try to rid you from the system, you scurry off to a station and curse in local until everyone leaves, it's sickening.
