Are you tired of flying the same old boring ships? Is your-faction fit Daredevil getting too many kills while youGÇÖre falling asleep at the keyboard? Do Gallente players with their pompous lives of luxury make you want to punch babies and fly through space like a giant freight-train from hell, shooting at anything and everything that moves? Then Crimson Serpent might be for you.
Who are we?
Crimson Serpent is a PVP-focused faction warfare corporation based in the Black Rise region, Kurala constellation, fighting on the side of the Caldari militia. Our fleet doctrines revolve around EWAR and stealth operations depending on situation and numbers. Utility is key to our fleets, and ECM and neuts are used extensively. Our goal is to have high isk efficiency both in small and large fleets, running small covert fleets and joining gen militia fleets with large numbers of force multipliers. We moved in to a wormhole and had been working on other projects for a bit, such as factionwarfare.com, but we have been back for a few months, fighting tooth and nail once again for the state and as of 01/12/2014 are opening up recruiting again. Why join us over all the other corporations in Caldari faction warfare? We're filthy rich, that's why! Joking aside (we really are filthy rich, though), here are the most compelling reasons to join:
GÇóTrolling isn't just a reason to whine on the forums. We fly unconventional ships, preferring to load up on neuts and bore the enemy until they self-destruct rather than fly around wet between the legs in fear of losing our cookie-cutter ships. We are the Harbingers of the EWAR apocalypse, fueled by blood and frog tears.
GÇóWe provide ships for scheduled fleet operations. Seriously, who does that?
GÇóAssistance with fittings. If you keep losing ships and don't know why, hit up one of the officers in the corporation and we'll help you figure it out. If you still keep losing ships, make sure it's a prettier ship than the other person's, that way you still win.
GÇóTraining courses. Want to learn how to fly interceptors? We have interceptor pilots that can teach you how to do it. Overview broken? Can't figure out how to use a kite fit? GÇóT1 ship focus. Most of the fleet ops and thrown together roams will be done with T1 ships. The goal is to get you trained and flying as quickly as possible and we can and will pick up people from general militia in these fleets to fill out roles we can't fill. No corporate elitism here (who am I kidding, the militia is full of spies, this way we get fights though).
GÇóNA time zone (mostly 4pm-10pm Pacific). There is a severe lack of activity in the later hours for American players in Caldari FW and we hope to fill that gap. We are looking for recruiters and FCGÇÖs in other time zones as well to encompass a wider range of activity.
GÇóBasing in low sec! Stop spinning ships in Nennamaila and Ichoriya scared of pirate gate camps. Ship up from behind the gate camps and go straight to what faction warfare is all about, blowing things up. We have a freighter to help you move things. We call her Betsy.
GÇóFamily friendly.
This all sounds great, what's the catch? What are the requirements?
To join us, you need:
GÇó5 million SP or trusted referral. This is a rigid requirement, as if you can't fly the ships we fly without at least decent competency, you wonGÇÖt be able to fully take advantage of being in here.
GÇóA drive to do things on your own. This corporation struggled in the past because people played spin the ship in station refusing to undock unless there was an FC available. We do not want players in the corporation that can't be self-sufficient. Corp members with proven self-sufficiency can also take advantage of the corp reimbursing them for losses of ships on their own time.
GÇóFly with us in public fleets a couple times. Our primary method of recruitment will be via fleets. It will allow us to figure out if your personality meshes well with the corporation, and if your schedule doesn't mesh with our fleet ops time you probably won't gain much from our corporation anyways.
GÇóFull API submission. No exceptions.
GÇóDon't argue with the fleet commanders and instructors. Let the lesson finish and if you disagree with something send a mail to the instructor/commander with your thoughts and something can be worked out. People who derail corp operations will not be tolerated.
GÇóTeamSpeak 3. We use this over EVE Voice because it allows control, such as requiring people to request voice and only allowing the people that need to talk the ability to do so. Also, text is for sissies and the keyboard is for playing space commander, so we'll be talking mostly in our lobby chat.

How to apply?
Please send an eve mail to a recruiter regarding your interest in joining, or simply jump in our public channel "CSSYN Pub" and have a chat with us. Do note the recruiters are likely not paying attention to that channel during operations. The information we are most interested in aside from your personality are the following:
GÇóYour PVP experience, preferred ship types, what you can fly, what you are training in to.
GÇóDisclosure of alts (or main). This is faction warfare, everyone is a spai. We might want limited API keys on alts depending on the circumstances.
GÇóWhy you want to join us.
All pilots upon joining will be on a trial period. During this time you will only receive ships that are manually given to you for fleet ops and will not have access to the hangar or strategic discussion threads on the forums. After a set period of time and/or or impressive kill board stats, you will be accepted as a full member. Make our kill board pretty and weGÇÖll throw ships at you until your hangar collapses.
